I bought the 12 pack and I am so glad I did because these clips were well received. First, we (myself, my niece and even grandma) wore these to see Disney on Ice and people wanted to know where we got them! I know they sell crazy expensive novelty souvenirs at those shows so I planned accordingly and bought these hair clips and light up toys so the kids wouldn't be begging for a silly $30 blinking 'Frozen' wand. Next, I took them to a birthday party and all 12 were worn by kids AND adults! Each clip comes with 3 button batteries and they start blinking in random patterns at the flip of the switch. The clips are easy to attach and stay firmly in hair without slipping.The battery life is good. These are pretty long and look great in long hair.Good price too

The media could not be loaded. These were really cool! My daughter wanted them for her glow themed birthday party so she would stand out from the other people and she definitely did! We hid the battery packs under a neon head band. They all worked great! The colors were vibrant and they were pretty easy to work with! The only issue we had with them was some of the alligator clips were falling off the battery packs but we just super glued them back on, not a huge deal at all! We will definitely be ordering again!

The lights were so pretty and my granddaughter loved them. Only one clip wouldn’t shut off when I tried it and we were going to use these for Halloween night but will enjoy the others we have.

THere were multiple clips that did not work at all. The ones that did were so cute. I had to glue the fiber optics into the lighted clip as they fall out easily. OVer all they are so cute when lit up. A group of us wore them to a Lady Gaga concert. Got lots of compliments.

For the price I found these to be well worth it! They were used during a Black Light party and they were a HUGE hit. Kids kept coming back to get more and more. They turn on/off easily. The only downfall for us was that kids were hoping they could change the batteries in them. I did not see how this would be possible. You are able to "see" the batteries but there is no way to access them without breaking the plastic. I only had 1 clip out of the whole package come off, but we simply glued it back on. I am not sure how long they will stay going, but I know the ones that were on at the party stayed on for over 2 hours.

What a piece of junk! Bought this as a gift (that I ended up NOT giving them).$15 for cheap, flimsy plastic balls on a string. Also came in horribly ugly, generic plain box with no branding and no instructions (ideas for tricks, etc..), in thin plastic bags. Absolutey NOT suitable for gift giving. It's not even labeled what is in the box, so if you didn't know what you were getting, you would open it and have no idea wht you are looking at or what to do with it. My advice is, if you really want a set of poi balls (especially if you are gifting them), spend a few more dollars and get something that at least looks somewhat appealing, not something that looks like you bought it from a flea market. it's a shame, if a little effort was made to make this look acceptable upon first glance (packaging, instructions, idea booklet), it might have been a nice gift. Getting returned asap.

These were the hit of my daughter b-day party. The girls clipped them to their hair and to neon party hats. They lasted the night -- one stopped working but the others were still going. They do start to dim - I don't know how easy it is to change the batteries of you want them for more than one party. I had no issue with bent fibers. They arrived in perfect condition with only a few filaments coming apart from the plastic top. Note that the fibers only light up at the end, so you don't have brilliant color all the way down the strands. As long as you are happy with that, you'll like these!
