Updated Review - April 2023This is my second pair of these handles with the first pair being purchased back in 2014...which are still holding up very well. I wanted a second set to avoid having to change out equipment as often so picked up this second pair...and they are even better than the originals which I still like very much.The handle has more of an ergonomic design than the original being a little more oval in shape which fits comfortably in the hands - more so even if you have big hands like me. It is also made from a more solid material which I like. The foam type padding on the original pair does tends to twist and slide a bit over time...especially when using heavier weight. The newer design uses a more solid rubber type grip to prevent that from happening. The web strapping is still the same high quality as is the heavy gauge metal ring.The only consideration is the size of the handle. For someone with smaller hands these might be a little hard to get a good grip on, but for most people they should be fine.Overall an improvement over the 2014 model which I would rate 4-1/2 stars compared to these which are a solid five stars. Still very much worth the money and still come highly recommend.Original Review - June 2014I have my own home gym and have a nice pulley system which I use with handles and bars of all shape and sizes. I have used these strap style handles before and liked the different feel they gave versus a normal metal handle. It's about variety to me.Compared to other strap handles I have used these are excellent quality. I'd say the best I have used and I have tried many. The handle itself is a good size for someone who has big hands like me and is made of heavy plastic. The straps are made of heavy duty webbing too and should last a ling time. Even the ring, which is one piece, is heavy gauge and solid. They provide a nice comfortable feel even when lifting heavy weight.These are quality handles at this price point for sure. You could easily pay double this price. I can highly recommend these to anyone who is looking for a good strap style handle.

I go to a military base gym where a lot of the gear is either mismatched or just not there. The handles at that gym are mismatched & mostly stirrup style that are solid. Those old kind really suck.So, I bought these. I figured can't go wrong for ten bucks. It's the best ten bucks I've spent this year. And it's December. These handles are solid! They have an ergo shape, slightly fatter in the center of the handle. And they have a really grippy rubber covering the hard plastic. Plus, they are a great size. The straps do not rub against the side of your hands like a pair of my gym's grips do.These are way better than the grips at my local gym. This is not saying a lot. But these grips would rock in any gym! And you won't find this quality at this price point in any store (at least none I looked at).10/10 would buy again.

Outstanding handles! I know you may be reading this thinking, well that's strange why would somebody go and purchase handles? I'll tell you why, because somebody in the gym in my office building is crazy and stole not two, but one handle off of the cable station. The office building seems to have taken the stance "we just gave you a nice new gym, what do you need handles on equipment for... just use the one you have." Thus, I found myself in the predicament that necessitated that I buy my own handles. I'm waiting for someone tell me why I'm taking the handles off the machine, so I can vent with there too and likely lend them to them for a set or two. That's all beside the ultimate point. Every aspect of these handles is heavy duty and quality. Moreover the combination of the thicker and longer material connecting to the ring has lessened the amount that the handle material digs into my arms when doing cable crossovers and some other exercises. The grip on them is outstanding and I just generally find them superior to the handles that have been on any equipment I have ever used. The increased thickness in the grip of the handles also prevents it from digging into my hands as much with heavy weight and has had the additional benefit of seemingly increasing the forearm activation with it as secondary muscle group to multiple exercises. Great product. Highly recommended--especially if you find yourself suffering from some idiot stealing one or more handles out of your gym!

Using these (three pairs) on a BOWFLEX. These are very similar to the high quality ergonomic handle BowFlex used to sell but discontinued. Not the simple straight ones that come with the BowFlex. Why these are perfect for the BowFlex.1. handle to ring distance is the same - that is relatively short. You do not want it long - reduces effective tension you can get. 2. slight bulge in middle (palm) makes it ergonomic and comfortable. 3. grip is soft rubber or silicon and has cross-hatch grooves. Excellent grip. 4. large flaired ends allows strap to rotate with little resistance. ------ I got three pairs (so they all match) so I can leave them on all three locations on the Bowflex - saves time. Better than moving one pair back and forth. Of course whatever bar you use on the BowFlex still has to be moved or removed.

I bought my own handles for the gym because the ones they have are falling apart or the good ones are taken. These are amazing. The grip is just enough to give you good control. They are also comfortable so when you use heavier weight, they don't cause added stress. They are sturdy and well made. I know they will last me a while. The one negative I have to say is that the metal right are a little big. They could make those a little smaller. Maybe just personal preference. Either way, you will not be disappointed with your purchase here.
