Dexter-Russell Outdoors 5" x 4" Hamburger Turner with High-Heat Handle

This is my 2nd food turner i have purchased from Dexter and It’s as good if not better than my original. I decided to go w the blue plastic handle this time around and it’s construction is definitely sturdy and well made. Its not quite as attractive as the wood but that just my personal feeling. Both ate great. As far as the weight, its noticable and in a good way. You van do a smash buther with it and not bee concerned of it bending. I also went a size larger 5” x 4” this time and i love it.Ii dont say this lightly but you will ne hard pressed to find a better food turner anywhere. Its not inexpensive but it will last forever as long as you dont misplace it somewhere like i did w my original one. BUY BUYBUY IT and you wont rver regret your decision if you do!

You can certainly buy cheaper “turners” than these, all made in China, but these are the real deal.They are sturdy (thick metal), the right size, they look great, and - made in USA!

Unfortunately, this product rusts to much for my occasional use. The attached picture is what it looked like before going in the trash. The proprietary dexsteel high-carbon, high-alloy stainless steel is to much carbon and not enough stainless steel for me. Most likely it's some type of 400 series stainless. While I do appreciate the made in USA, it can't compensate the amount of rust. I've only hand washed this product with apparently not much benefit. I used this product on a flat top grill.
