Easy to use
After using it for a day I'm pretty impressed by the product for the money spent. The real test will be longevity so I'll see where that goes but from the looks of it as long as I take care of it and store it properly it will last me a while.

Good for the money
I believe this is the cheapest and most lightweight system in the range. As such it is most suited to lightweight camera set ups that sit within its working range - obvious.I started with the SE version and found it to be too highly “sprung” for the weight of my camera. It simply didn’t put enough load into the springs to enable it to work properly. Not so with the the basic version. The spring tension is perfect and both arms are loaded equally and both work well. The tension adjustment knobs aren’t quite as nice on this version but once set they shouldn’t need to be adjusted much. The biggest drawback is that the gimbal end of the arm lacks the tilt adjustment of its larger brother. That may or may not be a concern for you. It doesn’t bother me too much but I would rather have paid a little extra to maintain this feature. The vest appears to be the same as the SE and it works well with enough adjustment to accommodate a larger figure. At the price point I feel this represents good value compared to the SE, especially if you have a light camera set up. It may be that it’s worth jumping up in the range to above the SE, for more features, but I don’t know.Recommended if you understand its limits.

2 axis and a bit klunky
Bought this thinking it was the newer Pro version ... it isn't :(This one is somewhat klunky and isn't really worth the money. The newer Pro version looks like a solid improvement but will have to wait and see if it lives up to the hype.
