I don't wish lice problem on anyone, but if you unfortunately have to deal with it, I definitely recommend this shampoo! It wasn't successful from the first go BUT it was because I didn't read the instructions! It's very VERY important to use this shampoo exactly as it is suggested. Which is repeating it up to 2 times after a certain amount of days... I learned it the hard way, but after the proper treatment, the problem was gone.

I was looking for a quality comb since child came home with a lice infestation. Many of the combs in some of the lice kits I saw online contained flimsy plastic comb and others with metal teeth just seemed hard to use and not very ergonomically created.The Rid comb was perfect, as it was easy to use and had two sides for different thickness and lenght of hair. I found that the long side was perfect for my childs long thick hair, as it grabbed every bit of lice and eggs that I could see.When picking lice, it is important to be very thorough and this can be time consuming. That is why it is so important to have a lice comb that is easy to use and ergonomic to hold and comb with. The long handle on the comb really helps with this.Highly recommended and I will keep this in my medicine cabinet in case I ever have a need in the future!

I was impressed by the sturdy design of the comb and the fact that it can be used on both long and short hair by swapping sides of the comb. It also removed those annoying creatures with ease. I read that you can use them on dogs or cats to comb out fleas. I'll be getting another one for my doggy.

It is so depressing that you can get this through "subscribe and save"I agree with other reviewers that you need to buy a good nit comb. Comb your hair with a normal comb before using the nit comb.My husband got some in his eye and got a corneal abrasion - this is not harmless stuff.It does kill most of the lice and stuns the rest so you can get them out. You will need to re-treat 7-10 days later as it does not kill the eggs.No treatment that you want to put in or on your body will allow you to skip the combing step, and if any survive and you don't remove them, they are very likely to transmit resistance to whatever treatment you use, so combing is the mainstay of any treatment.If you have a lot of live lice after treatment you may need to try another type of treatment.The white nits on the shaft of your hair have already hatched or died and you don't have to remove them but you do need to keep going until there are no more adults or babies.Lice are not a sign of poor hygiene - kids on swim teams that douse in chlorine every day get them.

I found the longer handle on this comb made it easier to use. I am using it to check for lice but would work well for removing lice too. I like that it has different size teeth on both sides. I found the shorter side worked better for the area around the ears. Overall, good quality.

My niece has thick, long hair and this comb work really well to get the lice out!
