Where’s the female model?
This comes in a male model only. Don’t get me wrong: it’s important to understand male anatomy. However, it is far more important to understand female musculature and ligaments due to the impacts of pregnancy and childbirth. Any medical professional is more likely to be in a situation where they have a pregnancy-related emergency than one with a male groin emergency. A failure to fully understand female anatomical features can result in death of both mother and child.Yet this company does NOT sell a female version of this model. And when we looked at their website, nearly ALL of their models were male versions only. By failing to make female models available in medical education, this company continues to support inferior medical care for women, higher rates of health complications for mother/child during birth, and general discriminatory practices in health care as a whole.
