So I bought these directly from the retailer because the international shipping was cheaper. I've been lifting weights since the age of 16, and am 34 now, and these are by far the best straps I have used. People at my gym were asking me where I got them, and I gladly referred them to the retailer. First I want to talk about the customer service and then will get to the straps. The folks that work at Grip Power Pads are awesome. They are very responsive to customer inquires whether it be email, a message on Facebook or a phone call. So five stars there. When I ordered these I was unaware they are labeled left and right, but after speaking with the manufacturer this is just a suggestion. As long as the strap is between the index finger and thumb, and are worn properly, the straps will work. Performance wise, they are great. I have gotten back up to using 60lb dumbbells and higher, doing bent over rows, and never once did these slip when used properly. The pad that goes on the wrist makes these straps extremely comfortable, and allows me to focus on my lifting, and not my grip. Durability, Im sure they will be fine. I've only used them once, but out of the package you can tell this is quality craftsmanship. I'm sure to get several years use out of these. All in all I am very happy with my purchase, the product, and the customer service, and highly recommend Grip Power Pads.

I received these straps today and the first thing that comes to my mind is comfort. I have used so many brands and with small bony wrists most straps dig in and are uncomfortable, but that IS NOT the case with these. Wide straps with thick neoprene for added comfort changed the game for me. These were super comfortable and I was able to focus on my pull downs without having to think about discomfort in my wrists. Now lets talk about the grip...NOT ONCE did the straps slip. The rubber grip sticks and the straps stay wrapped and tight. When I was done pulling I actually had to wiggle a bit just to get the straps to release. I take them to work to show my buddies that lift and hopefully they will order a pair as well. Great price for an awesome pair of straps. WORTH EVERY CENT.

Great set of lifting straps, especially for the money.My personal trainer has a pair of straps that are literally 3x the cost, and I like these ones better. I have an old wrist injury, so my grip strength has suffered, which has been limiting my deadlift. These straps have helped me get back to my old weight and beyond. I lost my first pair, so these are my second pair and I've had them about 2 months.Pros:Been used for well over 400lbs. No issues with pinching or tearing.ComfortableEasy to wrap onto the bar or dumbellPerfect amount of "Stickiness" in the grip, allowing me to pull, then release when the time comes.Feels well made, like it will last and not tear.Cons:The stitching where it attaches to make the loop is very rough, and causes wrist irritation. I scratched it for a minute or so with my fingernail and it smoothed right out.The design makes it hard to wrap around a non-movable bar with one hand, like a chinup bar or a smith machine bar. This is a limitation in the style, not these specific wraps, so I didnt take a star off for that.

This is the hubby leaving a review, not the wife.So 1st off:Con...only 1, the cushioning is ok, I ended up having marks on my wrists from my workout today. What I like to do is put sweat/wristbands to help cushion my wrists, I will have to do that with this wrist band.Pros...plenty! I use wrist straps for shoulder shrugs since I can shrug a whole lot then my forearms can handle. I used them for my workout today and what I found is that the extra length wrapped around better then the standard sized straps. Not once during my workout did I have an issue with my grip and the weight I was lifting. I was able to do my shrugs without having to put the weight down and re wrap the straps which was really nice. The length and the rubber on the bands make the grip work really well.

These lifting straps are the best that I have come across in a long time. I have medium to large wrists and these straps fit really good without the wrist padding getting in the way or not tightening enough around the wrist. The strap is also well made with great stitching and has a slightly textured material on the strap that wraps around the bar for extra grip. I have been using these straps for about a month now for deadlifts, lateral pull-downs, pull-ups and anywhere I need to keep the weight in my hands when my grip starts to fade. If you are looking for a great set of straps at a awesome price, then these might be what you might want to consider.

I'm pleased with my decision to purchase these lifting wraps. They are comfortable and give great support while I'm rowing. They don't offer much support for deadlifting as you pile the plates on.

These are a nice pair of lifting straps. They feel heavy duty and the padding helps to relieve pressure on the wrists for heavier lifts. I struggled the first few sets to wrap them around the bar because the material was still fairly stiff, but they loosened up quickly and are working great. I can easily get three wraps around an olympic bar, and the back of the straps provides a nice, grippy surface to hold onto. These might not be great for someone with small wrists due to the wide nature of the strap, which might make it harder to get a snug fit. I am an average-sized adult man and they have worked well.

Nicely constructed. The weave is sturdy but very flexible. They are wider then most grips, which is nice. My main complaint is large rubber logo. For some one with small wrists this gets in the way a bit, but if you have normal sized adult hands, it shouldn't be a problem.
