We purchased this aerator for our pond. It works great and I feel it saved our fish. We had a lot of pollen and this helps keep a certain area clear and allows the fish to breathe. It also arrived days earlier than expected. I had called them to order something else and their expertise taught me how to better take care of my pond. I'm 100% happy and pleased with this product. I plan on buying another one for my other pond as well. You'll be pleased if you purchase this item. Extremely easy to set up.

The review questionnaire asked about suction. This device is an aerator. It makes (LOTS OF) bubbles to oxygenate the water. Five bubblers, air pump can feed them all as long as you follow instructions and limit their depth to two feet or so.Very quiet, very effective, very nice.Our pond is about 15 feet across, sort of round, maybe as deep as 3 feet or so. This unit works well for our purposes.ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:our air pump died just short of two years old. We left it in all winter, and it survived two of them, both very cold and snowy. Warranty was for one year, it lasted almost two WITH NO CARE AT ALL. Just ordered it's replacement a.cew minutes ago. Same model.We like it enough that we're getting another one.

Well first, even with full sun all day, the aerator will only work for half a day. Secondly, the stone aerator air balls are so light, that they will not sink to the bottom of the pond. The air hoses just float on top of your pond. And last but not least, the solar panel cannot be adjusted to get the best angle on the sun; it only hangs straight, perpendicular to the ground. You have to buy another stand, that adjusts, to be able to lean the solar panel up towards to the sun.

Worked great for the first year. Then airflow decreased and it just completely stopped working.

I bought this to oxygenate the water in a deep water feature that now holds native aquatic plants and a generous number of frogs. I've had it for three weeks and am happy with it and am thinking of purchasing another given the volume of water in this fountain. It's a whisper quiet, easy to use aerator that is quite powerful with direct sunlight. It is not as strong in indirect or low light and pretty much stops pumping well before sunset. (Example: minimal airflow at 6 p.m. and sunset is at 7:40 tonight. ) I'd like to figure out a way to secure the floating tubes without crushing them. I DO appreciate the long cord between the solar panel and motor while the tube lengths are great as well. Overall, I'd love to see this:-a way to add another solar panel (my panel faces due south but I miss some morning and evening sun)-a battery for continual oxygenation on cloudy days or at night-weights or something to sink the tubes

Needs sun to run because no battery bank but is vey tough and works well I have had mine freeze solid and still works great

Worked well for two months. Stopped working, makes noise but no output on any of the five ports. Amazon sent seller a message, we shall see. This is my second unit from this seller. The first one worked great until I left it out in the cold.Update: Company sent a replacement, it works fine.
