Overall, this was a great addition to my ST!- The Silver really makes it stand out- Directions weren't that great- just a sheet with a dull picture with some brief instructions-However with some online reviews here (thank you "Ami Mahloof!") it was pretty easy to figure out. So I've added some pics/notes of my own. This was a great purchase, and the wife appreciates the step'!

Installation instructions not very useful but it’s not that hard to install. Very sturdy and looks great on the car..

Good looking, install easily by viewing a YouTube video. Easy step up. BUT skid pads are easy to dislocate by pivoting on them. We've learned not to do that

Good quality, not that difficult to install.Yes, the instructions are not super clear and the pictures are too up close to understand them, but here is the outline of how I've installed them and look at the pictures above for more clarity.1. Start from the back of the car and work towards the front2. Take the long shim and insert it through the square hole with the flat side towards you, it helps to bend it slightly to insert and then bend it back to hold it in place3. Take the big black bracket and using the long hex screw attach it to the shim you've inserted (don't tighten it yet)3. Take the plate with the 3 holes, this goes on the side of the car between the plastic and the metal frame of the body (align the 3 holes of the plate with the 3 holes in the body)4. I've skipped the plastic screw to hold it in place (looks like an extra step)Take 2 short hex screws and hold the big hrack in place5. Tighten the 3 screws6. Repeat moving from the back to the front7. Loosen the 6 screws (don't take them out) from the rubbing board and slide them to the brackets.It helps if you tighten a bit the screws on the front bracket and then push the running boards towards the back8. Tighten all screws, and repeat on the other side9. Take the mud flap and attach it on the front ( move your wheel toward you all the way)10. The small metal clip fits on the bottom of the mad flap with the bigger hold facing you11. Use the the screws to attach the mud flap while pressing it in and up ( 3 screws om the side) 1 on the bottomThat's it, an hour top and you get them both installed.No need for for a jack.You should have the open wranch for the hex screws but don't have too, you could use a visegrip pliers or adjustable wrench.

Look great, easy installation, sturdy and reasonably priced

I received on July 2, 2024 installed them on my brand new ford explorer st. Has not even been a week and The Black Raised Anti-Slip Texture Design are starting to fall off the running boards. Very un happy with my purchase.

On the Ford Explorer, put the plate up there and and put the bolts in temporary hold the plate put a vice grip between the metal body and the plastic to hold the plate and place. Remove the bolts.And put the bracket up there. Hopefully, this will make it really easy to install.It did for me
