I am not crazy about the way most ceiling fans look, but I am very happy with this one. Seems to be great quality and it’s quiet. The remote control is handy. We installed it in our master bedroom.

We bought two of them fo our backyard patio and couldn’t be happier with it. They were easy to install, are very quiet and come with a remote that lets you not only turn it on and off, but also adjust the speed of the fan and switch on the light conveniently while sitting in the lounge chair. It makes such a difference on our patio to be sitting in this nice breeze during our hot and humid NC summer. We will be enjoying these fans a lot!

Ordered this fan for my son’s nursery in our new home. I loved the design and initially planned to buy a couple more of the same fan for the other guest rooms. I’ve always known Hunter to be one of the “better” brands in ceiling fans, so I was excited to get this one ordered and installed.I’m not sure if it’s because I grew up without a father, or the fact that I’ve got a million things going on right now.. but installation was a PAIN! There are so many pieces and steps that it felt like it took forever.The design is beautiful, super cool and sleek and the matte black looks perfect in his room. My main complaint is the remote, which is seemingly the only way to control the fan. It’s terrible! Responsiveness is extremely hit and miss, you have to repeatedly press the buttons for any response. This is especially fun after bath time when I’m trying to turn the fan off and the lights on/off. Sometimes it takes as many as 7-8 tries to get anything to happen, and the dimming feature simply does not work.I reached out to Hunter support, expecting some trouble shooting of some sort. The representative’s responses have been extremely bland and not very helpful. She initially asked if I had the batteries installed correctly (duh), and then walked me through the steps that the instructions already provided for the dimming feature. After answering those questions, she chalked it up to being a bad receiver for the remote and is sending me a new one. Maybe this is the case, and I honestly don’t remember how many steps it’ll take for me to get the fan back down and the receiver replaced but I’m not looking forward to it. Ultimately, I’m getting a new receiver but hoping that is the actual problem.At the end of the day, beautiful device, spotty support and terrible remote. If I can get this one to work properly, I’ll reconsider buying several more for my home.

Very nice fan, but doesn’t seem to put out much air when it's really hot. If you're right under the fan you can feel the air, but sometimes you can't really feel it. I still recommend purchasing. Very sleek and nice design.

SLEEK MODERN AND BEAUTIFUL DESIGN. Well worth the money for this fan

The fan looks good, but does not put out much air. Lots of difficulty on the install. The holes do not match up and the installer had to drill new holes to make it work. I was given a $25 amazon card for the trouble.

I got two ceiling fans. The Hunter Gilmour 44 inch and the KAPOEFAN 46''. I put the Hunter in my bedroom since I wanted a fan that was totally quiet and I figured the Hunter fan would be quieter than the Chinese fan. 2 months later and the Hunter is making little clicking noises. Click, click, click as it spins around. It's very subtle but I pick up on this noise when in bed and it's silent. Piece of crap made in America. However, the KAPOEFAN 46'' fan in the kitchen is totally quiet. Getting another one to replace this piece of crap Hunter fan. And the Hunter fan remote is horrible with barely any functions. Trash product made in America.
