This is a high quality rope made to withstand sudden shock from an accidental fall. This particular lifeline is reflective so it makes spotting your stand site simple in the dark. Everything comes ready for use. The prusik knot is already tied. As I’ve gotten older I’m not as agile as I used to be, and for peace of mind I purchased this item. I believe everyone should be using something like this to prevent tragic hunting accidents. The cost is reasonable and well worth your life.

Stiff rope. Thick, good quality. The reflective makes finding my stand easy in dark. Easy install the cowbell cover keeps thing quiet. Standard carabiner. A must for anyone deep in the woods. Setup and proper use leaves nothing to chance.

Late to deer hunting, and now in my mid 70’s, I began to find climbing and especially descending ladder stands, in particular after a long cold sit here in Northeast Minnesota, to be rather daunting. So, with the lifeline, one is tethered in all the way up and all the way down the ladder. All you have to do is slide the Prusik knot up or down as you ascend or descend, remembering to keep the Prusik Knot above your head. The lifeline is just another dimension of safety that I’d rather not be without. Great product!

Product came in on time and is well built. Only problem I have with it is the manufacture date: March of 2021. Purchase date was January of 2025. Warning labels say to remove from service two years from manufacture date or date of purchase. Not sure how far out from the manufacture date this company will guarantee safety of their product.

I take safety seriously when it comes to hunting in stands and platforms. This is great for up and down and very assuring while sitting at elevated heights. Cost is reasonable and the quality is right on.
