This valet is a really fine piece of furniture, looks great, and has wonderful features. I researched dozens of these valets and am most happy that I chose this one. Among other things, there are two racks for pants; most others have only one. The wood quality is nice, and the valet is very well constructed and easily assembled.There are less expensive valets for sale, but this one is worth the higher price, which is not that high.The mahogany blends well with my lighter bedroom woods.I recommend this item without reservation.

Two things. As with other reviews the stand itself is nice enough but useless because it doesn’t stand solidly on floor. It wobbles and is not stable. Second thing is I contacted Customer Service number they provided on Product Info to see if perhaps they could replace or have any suggestions. The person who answered didn’t seem to know anything, if they could replace, what the product was, etc. Not helpful at all. So even though my son liked the idea of it, we’ll have to return. Need better service.

The unit arrived in excellent condition - in fact the packaging was a bit excessive. The assembly instructions were rather brief, and relied solely on pictures, no text. I was able to figure out the steps because I have assembled units with similar type fastening systems. However, I was able to assemble the unit in under an hour with only a hammer and screwdriver.I loaded the unit with a variety of clothes, probably not the kind this was designed for (suits, pants, and ties). But it is quite adaptable and so far very sturdy. I was concerned from the pictures whether the design was inherently unstable, but it is quite secure, even on a thick-pile rug. I like the looks and the functionality. I would recommend this unit and would consider purchasing another, if I needed two valets. I rated it 4 stars only because of the cryptic assembly instructions.

I would have given this a higher rating had the instructions been a little clearer and if I had been able to figure out how to install the tie holders. There are two tie holders (one on each side of the Valet) but I could not figure out from the one page of instructions how to install them. Otherwise, it's a nice unit and has served me well so far.

This was a Christmas gift to replace my husband's 30+ year valet. Disappointed in it. Had to call the help line once for clarification. Doesn't seem very sturdy. Actually, my husband is still using his other valet...not sure the new valet will withstand a heavy winter robe on it. I can rule out this one standing for 30 years....just hoping for 30 days.

This item is excellent. My husband loves it! I purchased two, one for the office and one for home. It holds shoes, pants, cufflinks, watches, phone, shirts, etc. and the hanger that holds the jacket is removable which is really nice. Basically, what you see is what you get, it looks handsome and there are two bars that pull out of each side of the unit that allow you to hang more items on the. It looks nice with nothing on it and even nicer when he hangs his coat on it. I would highly recommend this item. I searched for something like this where we live for years and couldn't find anything well built or as handsome as this. Its both functional and beautiful. Added bonus, I get my house back. Just another piece of cheap Chinese crap. I would have and should have returned it but I was determined to complete the assembly once I started. You need 5 hands to hold the pieces in place so that you can use two screwdrivers to try and get the screws into the insert nuts. The holes for the tie bars weren't drilled large enough so I had to re-drill them. Shoddy workmanship all around and the finished product is disappointing. Never again will I buy Chinese unless it's Chow Mein!

I’ve been on the lookout for a valet for years! and this model is one that I came across early on. I had it in my cart debating to get it or wait to wait to see if I found something else of equal or more value. I finally pulled the trigger on it when it went on sale. My only regret was not getting it sooner! It comes in clutch and have found that it definitely expedites my mornings. Even if you don’t dress up in a suit and tie everyday. It’s still a nice piece of furniture to keep all your EDC and jacket in at the end of your day when you come home. It’s relatively easy to put together even though the instructions are vague. The finish isn’t bad either. Overall, highly recommend it.
