I use these for hot tea and hot oatmeal. They are wonderful. They have a taste all of their own and not a sugary taste but still sweet. The brown in the oatmeal is wonderful. I still use the brown in hot tea too. I like these and just wanted to give them a try. They are wonderful.

Not expensive and worth the money. Add this to your tea service for a touch of class. I think I first had these at Kensington Gardens.

Sentimental value makes up for slightly elevated cost for this quality French natural sweetener. Cubes melt easily in warm beverage - even more easily than some sugars like sugar in the raw that NEVER melts! Brown sugar has slight caramel flavor. White sugar is good neutral white but perhaps not as bad for you as other white sugar due to minerals still left in processing La Peruche :) Love them and wish I could buy all the time.

They don't look too nice. All broken and not good quality

The flavor of this sugar is far superior to other cubes I've tried. We even did a blind taste test at my house and the entire crew agreed. There is more complexity to this sugar (both the white and the brown, but it is far more pronounced in the brown). We mostly reserve it for cocktails and special events/guests (we don't use a lot of sugar around here). It is worth having something a little different, better tasting and fun.
