Subtly improved flavour
"I don't normally like stuffing much, but this is very tasty".What more to you want said about your contribution to Christmas Day. And what was the difference? A palmful of this MSG as part of the mix.The result was a falvour enhancement that is not salty or spicy but just very satisfying and moreish.You do not need to use much and it is worth experimenting with, but in especially savoury dishes it lifts the flavour.

Good size and value for money, adds flavour to any meal, good quality. I transferred it to a closed jar as the packaging doesn't close once open, it should last me for ages

Exactly as described
MSG is great! It's not toxic - that study was debunked long ago. If you try it by itself you can experience that umami flavour. It's a great addition to many meals, not just Takeaway style food. 1tsp is enough for 3-4 servings. It contains sodium so reduce your salt a bit if you use it.

Learning curve but worth it for better food!
Really good. We kept adding Oxo cubes to all sorts of dishes to get the MSG kick to the flavour. This is a much more economical way of doing it and with greater control over the amount of salt. Even very simple dishes like carrot and sweet potato soup are enhanced by it.It does take some getting used to - because it comes in quite big granules it seems to take a while to absorb into the food so there is no point adding it at the end of a recipe and tasting immediately. Also although it looks like you are adding salt, it definitely isn't salt... more of a compliment to salt - so you still need to add both. I am sure eventually I will get the ratio as perfect as a Chinese takeaway and enjoy the extreme thirst next day!
