This product looks very well made. I am glad I bought the model with two clamps.

The switch was incorrectly wired. I resoldered the wires to the switch, as the picture illustrates, to make it work correctly. Intension is to have one switch position where current flow through the switch (not tripping the fuse inside the meter), and one switch position where current flow through the meter (enabling amperage measurement).

Several people have reported that the unit was incorrectly wired. I assumed this would have been fixed, but it has not! They just keep shipping something they know is bad! So, one star.

The sling showed up with absolutely no instructions whatsoever. I’m a pretty experienced do it yourself auto mechanic but this particular tool is new to me and some words of explanation would come in handy. Oh yeah, I’ll Google it and figure it out, but how hard would it be to include some basic instructions along with the product? I might give it a higher rating if I could use it out of the box.
