Baklava Assortment 2 lbs

This baklava assortment is dairy free, and I would not have been able to tell from the taste. The flavors are gorgeous. There is regular, pistachio, and even a few with a hint of orange blossom water. They are nice and syrupy and also crispy. The shipping moved them about a bit, but this is to be expected. They are wrapped very carefully and were in excellent condition.

There are many variants of Baklava that you can get online, however most of them tend towards the incredibly dry side. Thankfully, this isn't one of those. It's in that wonderful sweet spot of being moist without becoming soggy. This place knows how to make a good Baklava.

These were really delicious! The were shipped Fed-Ex. VERY WELL packaged — not one piece broken. It’s a nice assortment, different types — all tasty. They are not overly sweet. They are not dripping in honey. I just wish the shipping wasn’t so pricy. But I would purchase them again. As good as you would find in a local Greek bakery!

If you know baklava, this is not it. The pastry was fine, but the filling was not. This stuff has never even heard of butter, which is essential to baklava. It has a sweet lemony taste, which, if I wasn't expecting the buttery richness of real baklava, I might have been ok with. As it was, after one bite my husband and I threw it in the trash.

Compared to buying fresh from a shop in Jerusalem, this one was a little less fresh but entirely satisfactory. Good packaging/shipping.

Nice, wanted to send a friends Aunt and Uncle who have basically adopted me. Aunt mentioned while in Mexico, how much she likes Baklava. Well a neighbor makes it for me from scratch, so now I am spoiled. And only at Christmas, how cheap is she?! Decided to search locally, including Greek and Persian places. Not much luck. Decided Amazon, I was desperate. Was surprised how good it was. Aunt and Uncle inviting me back to Mexico. Yeah.
