I would never say this was anything but a great deal. Sharp and sturdy. I find two things that would be worth noting. First, it cuts frozen and fresh great. I will say don't cut frozen solid meat though, depending on how strong you are. I sliced up 10 lbs. of frozen solid ground beef with this and all my weight. No damage at all to the slicer, some to my counter. Second, much like the first, it will cut bone, depending on how strong you are. The only thing about this though is you will need to sharpen it afterward. Yes it can be easily be sharpened, good quality blades always can be. Facts are I would choose this over an electric slicer any day.

We feed our dogs a raw diet and go through a lot of chicken. this unit can cut a lot of legs and thighs in a very short time. seems sturdy enough. time will tell2years later and still works good. Over 1000Lbs of chicken cut up and going strong.

No instructions on setting it up, very flimsy and not sturdy, doesn't cut through meat cleanly.

I brought this for cut the pork bone, but it is not very easy. You should use a lot of power , when I finished cut, my hand was so hurting. This is not worth for this price.

I thought, I was able to use to cut cows meat bones. Unfortunately it began to bend and I stopped using it. I did not cut any bone with it. I really don't recommend no one to buy it.
