When I first looked at paging systems they were all too expensive for a small family owned restaurant. Then I ran into this system on Amazon and I figured, for the price, it's worth a try. We've been using this NOLAS paging system for almost 3 years now and it's flawless! It's very easy to customize the paper cover. I made one with our logo, our address (in case someone mistakenly walked out with one) and the pager number and they look great. The range is very good, they work well when customers are waiting for their tables while enjoying a cocktail at the outdoor area in Summer. It even works on the very back section of our parking lot. They are small so the unit doesn't take up a lot of space on our busy host station. The pagers are also compact which is also a good thing, however, being small makes them less noticeable if the customer puts it in a winter coat pocket, for example. I always advice customers to not put them in a pocket or purse. The company was also very responsive when I contacted them about acquiring extra plastic covers.

Our church has a homeless clothing ministry, and people were getting grumpy sitting outside in the Florida heat. They would start to argue about who was next in line to come into the air conditioning. We have only a fairly small room to have all the clothes in, so we can only allowed five people at a time inside. When we almost had a fight outside because of it, we purchased these. What a great system! The people are thrilled to be able to know when it's their turn. We even had a guy that went over and fell asleep in the next door neighbor's yard under a tree, and he was awakened by the beeping. Bravo!Update: it's been a bit over a year. 5 pagers don't work. 2 beep when you put in another number. Such a disappointment from what started as the best item ever!

Ive bougth different beepers around two years since I started my own small business and this is the first time I start new with all full beepers working. It also shows red or green to let me know wich one can be used and wich one needs more time charging.Update: It has been 5 months since i started using it and three beepers aren't working. The rest it sounds and vibrates too. Still consider it a good investment. Distance is fair enough for it's value.
