In these days when visiting a barber or hairstylist may not be at the top of your list of safe things to do, it makes sense to try to cut your own hair as much as possible. I had never thinned my own hair before using these. They are extremely sharp and work very well. The only caution I'd advise is to err on the side of trimming less than you might think you should until you get the knack. These thinning scissors will keep you presentable till it's once again safe to visit a professional! I recommend them.

These hair cutting thinning shears take your cuts from good to excellent. They are very easy to use. When I had a problem with the teeth not lining up correctly, I contacted the seller, DRGSKL, via Amazon messagings. They contacted me in less than 24 hours and had the problem solved as soon as I could possibly expect. Very very sharp. I cut my finger when i lightly brushed my fingers across the straight side.Im not a pro, so maybe i was holding the scissors incorrectly but after 30 mins i found it quite heavy & tiring to use. Takes about 10-20 snips to cut one section - is this norm? My first time using this type of scissors on my poodle.

I like the scissors. They are very sharp. I’ve used them on 3 dogs and they are still sharp. One complaint, the finger and thumb holes are small and a bit unforgiving. This is my first pair of chunkers. The do remove a lot more hair than the common thinning shears. They seem to be make of quality steel. I would buy this again

Great product! I wanted to try to trim my own hair at home. First time use of these scissors, and I am very pleased with the results. Texturized the ends of my hair and thinned out the back. These scissors were easy to very easy to use.

These thinning shears are very nice. Quality material and action. I’m sure for most people the thumb hole is fine but I’m a man. My thumbs are thick and, though with effort I can use the shears, it would be nice if the makers of said shears were not so sexist to think they need only accommodate a woman’s hand.

The materials and quality of the scissors appear to be good. But whether by poor design or defective protect, these thinning sheets are unusable. The scissors bind mid way on the thinning times and lock up preventing any cutting. Will be returning these.

The scissors are excellent! They are well packaged and are a great tool. I initially got them to trim my puppy's hair since I was unable to go to the groomer. I needed scissors that were able to create texture and they work great. I also used them on my own hair first since I couldn't make it to the stylist. I am not a professional stylist but the scissors worked great! They created the look that I wanted. This is a excellent value for the money!
