Awful instructions
This is a realy nice item. It looks great when put together and is fixed to the wall, and it's stringly made, too. The rather flimsy polycarbonate sheets that make up the main part of the roff sections is very stroing when in place and does not rattle in the rain. But the instructions are truly awful! Think IKEA without the sense or communication. In a folded A4 booklet, they provide one page of very poor, largely unhelpful photos with ambiguous arrows and a completely blank page where you can, presumably, write your own notes. When you come to put it up, take your time and think it through before you start. It is straightforward, but only after you've done it once. It's easy to damage the poloycarbonate sheets as you push them into the strengthening strips, so do this bit with great care and a little washing-up liquip to help them slide together The second time is a lot easier!Overall it's great, but could do with some decent instructions.

Does the job
This is a well made product, looks good, not heavy and keeps the rain off. The only thing I would say is it’s slightly too big for my back door but have repurposed it for my shed and recycling store.

Tricky Set Up
Once you get the way of it , its plain sailing , we used our own screws instead of thunderbolts .Good sturdiness , value for money 100% buying again .

Looks good.
The canopy was simple to assemble and easy to erect and it looks very smart.

problems with this product
I bought 2 of these canopies -one for the front door, one for the rear door. I assembled the front canopy first, and found it took 2 people to join the two pieces of polycarbonate together as the jointing strip is quite tight. After drilling the holes , I found the fixing bolts very flimbsy a more substantial fixing would have been better. For the rear door I used coachscrews. When it rained, because the hollow polycarbonate runs from side to side, it draws in moisture. After strong winds ,I found the two pieces of polycarbonate had blown apart , the rear piece lifting up 75mm.this meant I had to remove the whole canopy , blow the water out of the hollow polycarbonate with an airlineand seal all the ends with clear silicone. I also applied silicone to both sides of the jointing strip ,reassembled and refixed over the front door. Since then all has been fine.
