Solapur Chatni Peanut Chutney with Garlic 950 gm

Spicy and made from fresh ground nuts... Excellent product

Purpose of my writing a review of this item after 45 days was to check if the original taste changes after a few days, and I am happy to say the the Chatni taste has not changed/deteriorated over these 45 days.The chatni tastes exactly as promised and one of the most authentic which I could get in the market, offline or online. In this type of Maharastrian chatni, since the number of ingredients are limited, proportion of each item is important, and in this case, the manufacturer appears to have used the portions of ingredients like peanuts, chillies and garlic to perfection resulting in great taste. Ingredient quality also appears to be good.Only suggestion would be to make it available in 250 gms quantity so that it becomes affordable as customers pay courier charges also.

The taste of the chutney is good; actually better than 2 other Solapur Shenga Chutney that I've ordered on Amazon. However I wanted it to be a bit more spicy. It's spicier than the other 2 brands that I've tried but not so much. It's not "Zanzanit" as someone already mentioned in one of the reviews.

Nice taste but very hot. Not good for stomach. Can reduce amount of chilli while preparing.

One of the best shenga chutney. Finally I seem to have found the perfect one. Will definitely order again.

Taste is not good. No spice

Authentic solapur chutney. Same as my colleagues from Solapur (Maharashtra) used to bring in lunch. It's kind of dry chutney.. Those who like me (non Maharashtrians) expecting little oily type chutney, they have to either mix oil and mingle a second or two in mixer or hand mix it or either find another product. I searched for in amzon but didn't found any oily ones...
