Aqueon LED Deluxe Fish Tank Aquarium Full Hood, Black, 24 Inch

This thing is amazing!!! I have a crawfish and struggle to keep his tank clean. The water gets so dirty in a matter of 2 weeks. It turns cloudy and green stuff starts growing on the glass of the tank. I bought this and it cleared the tank up in 2 days. I am about 1 month in and the water is still clear. 100% recommended!!!

Old fluorescent hood bulb quit working. So far this is working great. Added the second LED with the Beauty Max size 24. Hood fits perfectly on my 20 gallon high/tall aquarium and can easily replace LEDs if the others quit working. Seems well made. Like the additional blue light for night time. Highly recommend.

As others have mentioned, this tank hood is NOT 24 inches wide. After searching quite a bit, I decided to try it anyway since it was the only one that looked like it MIGHT achieve 24 inches. It didn't, it's more like 23 3/4in. wide. Luckily, I was able just to wrap paint stirring sticks with black duct tape and they fit nicely on each side of my tank to make the tank opening more narrow enabling this hood to work on top of my tank.I like the hood itself. It has a hinged hood and break away sections to make room for your filter. The light is bright, which I like. It includes one LED light which is both a daytime light or a blue night light depending which way you push the light switch. This is my first experience using an LED and hopefully it will last longer than the 3 months others have complained about.

I absolutely love this hood. It's a perfect fit and the lighting is absolutely wonderful. I love the night/moon lighting as well. Which is sort of hidden. I thought there would be two switches and there's not. You just reverse the direction you flip the switch. Lol

I have always used florescent lights for my aquarium hood and was skeptical switching to ED'S. It is now really hard to find them so I decided to try these LED hood lights. These LED lights maintained the brightness just like my florescent ones.You switch on the lights (pushing upwards) and got a clear & clean view. When pushing on the switch button, push downwards and it becomes night mode (blue contrast). This is an addedbonus for me and I liked it.

Works great and fits perfectly! I have a 20” wide standard tank and it fits perfectly. The moon light is a nice addition too!

I had not been able to find a new lid or hood for my 11 year old 29 gallon bowfront aquarium. The bow version of this hood did not fit so I ordered this one and used my old lid which had separated at the hinge, underneath this one to fill in the bow gap. The black finish looks nice with the black trim at the top and bottom of my tank. The full length hinged door makes it easy to feed the fish and maintain the tank without taking the hood off. It can accomodate two LED lamps, but the included day white light is bright enought. I also like the blue nighttime moon light.
