Transcend 8GB SDHC Memory Card

I needed to purchase another large-capacity SD card for use with my dash camera, and immediately went to work searching all around Amazon's website for one that would fit my needs. After spending some quality time looking through dozens of listings, I came across this card and decided to purchase it. Needless to say, I wasn't disappointed: the price was great, shipping was fast, and the card came in packaging that was easy to open.Overall, it is a great SD card for the price and I would recommend this brand to anyone who is in need of some quality flash media.

I used this to put our family pictures on to go into a digital picture frame for my parents..who live thousands of miles away. One of whom has Alzheimer's. They put it beside my dad to help him remember all of us. It helped us make the perfect Christmas gift! It easily held two years worth of family photos. It worked like a charm when grandma plugged the frame in and sat it next to him. No glitches. They leave it on and he looks at it every day now so it must be a pretty good card :)

I bought a pair of these cards for a Canon PowerShot A590IS 8MP Digital Camera with 4x Optical Image Stabilized Zoom. If you are using the CHDK hack on the A590, my understanding is that 4gb is the largest card you can reformat to FAT (16), if you want the autoload function to work on camera turn on. I've reformatted the cards, loaded the hack, and so far the camera is working fine. Four stars only for the cards, because they came without cases. However, for the price with free shipping (from Agfa) they're an excellent buy.

I need a Sim card that came recommended at an affordable price and that would work in my canon rebel camera and it’s done the trick. I have no complaints.

Love this memory card. I have never had a problem with this brand. Able to store many photos and video. I have about 6 cards for various events.

This is fantastic. I cannot believe the price you can get this on Amazon. I remember in the old days you would only be able to take a few pictures, and have to upload them to your camera and erase them. This thing is very tiny, and I have already taken 20,000 pictures, and my brother gave me the camera so who knows how old is really is. LOL

I was concerned because it is a little known brand but the memory card works perfectly allowing me to scan images and take them with me to where ever I need to have them for work. If you are in a bind and need a memory card I recommend this one, the price - quality ratio is awesome.

Philips no longer includes SD cards with its latest $1,200 medical devices, so I had to spring for my own to record data. I'm not sure this card is rated for medical applications, but given that there wasn't a card included, it beats the nothing that wasn't provided. There were a variety of recommendations on card capacity for this application to ensure host system compatibility, so I went with this one. Difficult to insert and extract but I blame that abysmal overall build quality of the medical device, not this Transcend card since it inserts and extracts perfectly well elsewhere.
