Vampires: The Occult Truth (Llewellyn Truth about) Paperback – September 8, 2002

Great read.

I wish it was a bit larger, going into more detail in certain areas, but this is a great introduction to many things and Konstantinos, like Father Sebastian, never disappoints. Great work!

The book is in wonderful condition. the one i borrowed had an accident by puppies............soon the person i borrow the book from will have their replacement.Thank you.Anyone curious about Vampires Cult, lore from all over the world. This is a very good read. very informative along with introducing other cultures myths, legends. bit dry in spots but this is not a Fantasy Fiction book. It you expect this to be a Fiction/fantasy you are in the wrong section.

In the years prior to reading this book I have done a small amount of research on the subject of vampires myself. And I have discovered, on my own, much of what is expressed in this book, to be true. Such research has, however been complicated by the fact that information on this subject is often tainted by the innumerable fictional ideas, stories and their resulting influences on our current culture. Happily, this book has been written in a way which acknowledges this current cultural bias towards fiction, while focusing on a great deal of ancient mythology through the eyes of a modern day occultist. Well written, packed with information and personal experiences, and perfect for those who are just starting to explore the subject of real life vampires...

i learned so much book including the fact that my brother may be having symptoms of a hag attack. i was able to help him through it all because of this book and this book only. i am a christian but i also don't rule out the paranormal world. my friend died a violent death and the book clearly stated that it's possible that my friend may have become a vampire and possibly the vampire who caused my brother to have a hag attack. my mom also read this book and she believes that it's an explanation to my brothers supernatural symptoms. this book was very helpful to myself, my mom and my brother. until now my mom has never heard of occult science and now she does!

I must admit that I was disappointed somewhat in this book. I suppose from the way everyone was talking about it I thought it would be on more of the vampire sub culture of today and not necessarily the past tales of vampiric accounts. However I did enjoy reading about what the vampire is considered to be across the world as well as read the tales of what others have seen or heard

Great book for learning about vampires. This book is written in a great format and you can tell the author is a very deticated person.

I have studied alot about vampires and this book is a great book on vampires it covers alot of true information about modern vamps and the past and theories came to be about them. it also is not a book saying this is the whole truth and only truth. it shows both sides of how it could be true and not true. the only thing i disliked is it only focused on the negative side of psychic vampires not all psychic vampires are bad like he portrays but its still an amazing read. i highly recommend it.
