Great for over sized figures and army men
I needed some bases for a variety of board game pieces and decided to try out these MDF wooden bases. The price was more than reasonable, particularly given their quality. These bases were precise and uniform. The edges were clean and smooth. Gluing the plastic figures was not an issue, the bases and miniatures adhered nicely with some Zap-a-gap. Weight wise these bases are comparable to the plastic bases produced by other gaming companies, but much cheaper. I couldn't be happier with this purchase.I used these bases for plastic dinosaurs and Age of Mythology board game miniatures. They worked great for the larger pieces like the chariot and elephant. I could see them working very nicely for 28mm monster and cavalry minis as well.
