Basically a $300 (yet superior) w7, 28mm one way, shorting ring (low inductance = SQ), low FS (26hz)
This thing took me by surprise, and I have used A LOT of subs (OZ matrix elite, TC sounds, type r's Diamond TDX, Soundstream Exact etc etc). Just like the other review, this is in a 2 cube ported tuned to 29-32hz range. I have always been a sealed box guy, but the ability to basically sound twice as loud, with insane thunderous lows, has converted me forever. This sub has all the SQ and quickness you could want after a few parametric notches in the 45hz range, and legitimately sounds like a HT sub when I play movies on my android head unit thanks to the low FS.In my RTA testing, the response drops off noticeably at 26hz which is awesome. Most ported systems drop off a cliff after 35hz. plays up to 70 well to blend with the midbass. I like to try out new things, but every time I try to find a sub with this much motor strength, displacement, lower inductance, and power handling (giving it 1400 watts and cant bottom it out), I just can't. The dayton RSS315HE-22 looks interesting but I haven't tried one yet.Love this sub, and I am planning a kerfed ported box tuned to 30hz with more port area, because it chuffs at high volume (26^in, new box will be 32^in). It also one of the nicest built subs I've come across in a while, the motor structure is massive, and the basket is painted a glossy white. Yeah the logo sucks, but that's about my only complaint. If you are on the fence, just get it. I am forever a fan of this company now. It performs very similarly to a 12 W7 minus that JL "tubbiness", no joke.

Quality SQL subwoofer
I purchased my sub here on Amazon back in March of this year to step up my bass in my 2018 Nissan Versa SV. I have it running off of a 5 channel Hifonics Brutus BRX5016.5 which is rated at 1kW @ 1ohm on the sub channel. You can very much tell that this sub can handle twice as much power that it is rated for by the manufacturer. When I was looking for a sub to upgrade to I originally had the Image Dynamics IDMAX 12" in mind, but I wasn't looking to spend $400 for a sub. I just did a little looking around to see what brands of subs were available for under $300 and had the same ratings as the IDMAX. I came across Sundown Audio and Skar Audio but I wasn't familiar with any of their stuff then I remembered a review that I saw on Youtube on EXO Contralto's page where he did a video on Resilient Sounds linee of subwoofers. I did some shopping around and found it on here for $289 (which by the way is a very good price for a sub like this) so I just took a chance in purchasing the sub. I get the sub and install the thing and boy was I blown away on how good it sounded especially for the money spent! I have it in a 2.0 cu ft ported sub enclosure (pictured above) and that thing gets very low. I find that the sub sounded better in a ported enclosure vs a sealed enclosure...maybe if I had an amp that puts out more than 1,000w on the sub it would sound pretty good in a sealed enclosure. I most definitely recommend purchasing this sub if you want good sound quality along with a good amount of SPL for the price.

Resilient sound gold 12 2ohms
The media could not be loaded. I took a chance after seeing about 4 hours of reviews on YouTube! Fan for life now. I got a down 4 sound mm1000 pushing it and it can take more power. Looking at a jp23 v2 and a custom box 2.25 cuft

Didn't make it 6 months
Its laughable that someone compares this sub to the w7 there not even playing the same sport. very disappointing it didn't even make it 6 months

Amazing sq, takes Aton of power, nothing to complain about
I haven’t heard anything that sounds near as good as this in this price range, it stays cool, it slams the lows, sounds amazing, and takes well over rated. I have it hooked up to a Orion xtr 1500 with upgraded electrical. I highly recommend this sub you won’t be disappointed. I worried by the lack of reviews but it’s a amazing sub and came in very nice packaging and Is very premium.
