Perfect for routing cable neatly along molding
I needed to route my cable wire so that it wasn’t running under my bed and over the carpet, or as in the pictures attached, hanging over the molding. These Cable clips allowed me to neatly route my cable along my wall trim and around my door frame. Who knew these existed. I’ll use them everywhere around my home where cable is laying around freely.

Perfect size for Cat8 a little big for Cat6
Bought it to run new Cat8 cables for my Gigabit internet service that previously had Cat5 & Cat6. This 7mm size was perfect to run the fatter cables for up to 40Gb speeds. By far, a better choice than Staples that compress/kink the cables at each staple, thus decreases signal reliability/efficiency. I'm confident they'll last 8 to 10 yrs in the attic without dry rotting and breaking under the weight of the cable. Which is reasonable IMO considering it only cost $8 for 200pc. If I run out by the time I'm done rerunning the cables, I'll definitely buy more of them. If you're running Cat5 or 6 then 6mm is probably a better choice if you look at my pictures, the white cable is Cat8 with a perfect and snug fit. The blue cable is Cat6 with about 1mm of play which won't keep the cables as snug or in place as well, especially in overhead situations.

Does the job, but not entirely
If your looking for something to nail and organize those pesky cables, this is your product. But if your looking for something sturdy, to prevent your toddlers from pulling on cables—look elsewhere. These are useless. Here's my story: I had a section of loose Xfinity/Comcast cables in our living room and noticed our toddler was starting to pull on them. So I bought this product—the size was perfect, but I noticed the nailes were on the shorter side. I was like, what the heck, I'll install them anyway. So I did.Throughout the following days, my daughter easily, without any force, pulled the cable off the walls; removing also a bunch of those pesky nails I installed. Scary, not safe, and just plain useless. If you don't have kids running around—buy them. If you do, skip it and go to Home Depot.

Do their job well
Have used 800 or so of these, many afternoons of experience hammering them into place at the top of high ladders. They're good, recommended... If you really want details about $7 clips:PROS. Going into 2x6 home construction quality wood, they hold well. I used them at about 12-14" intervals to hold up some thickly shielded CAT5e ethernet cable (perfect fit, snug but just enough play to slide the wire). Tried to pry them loose by hand, never could. Always needed to get a tool to pry them up and usually broke the "loop" before the nail gave way. If you can hold them with one finger from the loop, they're easy to tap into place with a small ballpeen hammer (a series of light taps works better, then tend to change directions until the nail is pretty far in). For extra strength, I used them in pairs in many "don't want to ever climb up here again" areas, with the loops facing in opposite directions... This combo approach makes them hold very strong, could change the wire's direction or take it around corners without lifting the nail or bending the loop. Could even pull the wire taught while hammering in a new pair without pulling out the previous pair.CONS. Had a few in each box missing the nail, wasn't in the bin, just missing. Not enough to deduct any stars. The seating position of the nail starts high -- you have to tap it a few times before the tip of the nail even protrudes. If you're in a tight space, this can make it even more annoying to get the nail started straight. Suggestion, tap it a few times over a board until the nail head just starts to poke out, then move it into place.OTHER: They take exterior paint well. The plastic seems decent quality but would not leave them in direct sunlight without painting them, thin loop will probably crack off from UV damage if there's any tension on the wire. They don't hold as well in drywall (with effort you can pry them out with your fingers), but hold better than one of those "special staple gun" wire holders I had to compare it with.SUMMARY:I used a lot of these and liked them, felt like they'd hold a long time especially when doubled up facing in opposite directions.

So many uses!
These are awesome. I bought the package to keep a power cord snug and less noticeable by running it along a doorway edge. But I've found lots of other uses, including holding strings in place on a homemade outdoor baby gate! Great to have so many pieces for not much $.

Perfect
These are a great product. I used them to route the cables for a 7.1 surround sound system and they worked great. Two 16 gauge speaker wires fit perfectly in the opening. I read a previous review that said "use all you want, there are plenty" and its true. When I was finished, I still had a half of a box left. I would like to give the person that came up with the idea of mounting the nail in the bracket a kiss, the design makes using them a breeze. I was concerned about the length of the nail at first, but they penetrated the dry wall enough to give a good grip. Highly recommended.

Used for 100ft Cat6 Run
I bought these for a 100ft run of a Cat6 ethernet cable around the perimeter of our living room to keep things nice and tight. The spacing on the clips was the perfect size for the size of the cable and they made it very easy to complete the install. The nails went right in, and secured the cable to the baseboard and moulding, resulting in a clean, professional look.Still have plenty of clips left over, so hopefully will find another project to use these cable clips for.

keep cables in a line on the floor
These work as advertised to keep a tube in a line on the floor. Easy to use-just position and hammer. These were available at the local hardware store but for much more for less. I think I only used 10, so now I've got to find other cables to organize.

Nice and sturdy looks cleaner
Really like the idea and the product n no more weird wires hanging all around. I used it to nail cable wires nearly to wall bottom n I liked the ease n after finishing matches with wall white color also. Recommended
