Wow, a 5 star review?Yes. I've provided some reasons in case someone is wondering why they would trust some stranger's review they found online.1) Zusak wrote itI honestly think this is sufficient enough, but for the doubters in the back I'll add a few more.2) It's honest and relatable for all ages/audiencesIt can be a light read for a small trip, or chapter after chapter of life lessons3) #2 makes it a bit somber at times, but the narration keeps a solid balance between laughing and feeling like kicking something4) #2 also makes it the perfect gift (ex: a younger sister)Clearly, if you're reading the reviews, that means you're considering it.Just do it. Please. I've never been accused of making great decisions, but I've never been accused of suggesting a bad book.

Another great read from Zusak
Another great read from Zusak. An easy and relatable read for young adults and those young at heart who can relate to the teenage angst of Cameron Wolfe. The Underdog lacks the same charm and flair that the original Fighting Ruben Wolfe had - the time lapse might have something to do with it. An enjoyable read none the less.

Avoid this book
Honedtly, if this was really the suthors debute book, I can't see how he continued to get published. Absolutely nothing happens, except for a boy running around obsessing about a girl he spoke to once and decided off that exchange that they were destined to each other. Then to up the word count to make it into a novel. He kept obsessing about the dreams that really did nothing to advance the little plot that existed. Very disappointing!

Underdog/Adrian Mole
After reading The Book Thief I was keen to read more in the same style. It seems that Mr. Zusaks style has matured. Full marks for The Book Thief though.

I love the way Markus Zusak writes
I love the way Markus Zusak writes. Its like a journey through the main character's mind. The story is good too.
