Pentair Pool Pump Trap Basket Generic 36343

Seems to be an exact replacement of the OEM part. Fits correctly, has the cutout notch in the correct spot, and comes in a super cool blue color. I mean, not that I’ll see it when installed, but still cool. Anyway, so far so good and filters well.

I found this strainer to be a good replacement for the original 353318 I had been trying to get, and it was much less expensive. I believe it will also be more durable (and again much cheaper) than the blue strainers I had been buying from our local pool company.

It does what it’s suppose to do and it fits like it’s suppose to fit. However it was sent in an envelope rather than a box so it could’ve easily been damaged in transit.

This basket fits my Challenger pool pump system perfectly. I've only had it a few months, so I can't provide my definitive user experience on sturdiness or durability. However, a different basket from another vendor only lasted a few years. The handle broke off, which made it difficult to remove it from the pump assembly. This handle and basket seems to be better made.

Hard to find part in my area. Just as good as original.

This was a perfect fit and made of a more flexible plastic than the original. Should last for many years! Great price…better than local pool stores.
