Indonesian Gulai Curry Soup Instant Seasoning is pretty good to try for any Indonesian expat or anyone who craves the bold, exotic flavors of Indonesian cuisine. Almost authentic 😉 It has a similar taste of home that's easy to prepare, consistently delicious, and sure to become a staple in your kitchen. I cooked it with beef only. I am glad I give it a try, and it somehow reminded me of the food vendor off the street in East Java with every savory spoonful.

Excellent tasting gulai (Indonesian/Java curry soup) and quite affordable.

I made it with stew beef. First cooked for 2 hours with a chopped onion, put a lid on and let it simmer in its own juices. Then I added the spice mix and half a can of lite coconut milk. It reminds me of Pakistani curry. I served with rice and roti. Very good. I’m buying more. Note, it does add a fair amount of salt. Next time I will not thoroughly salt my meat before adding the spice mix.
