Really good value.
Easy to set up, clear instructions and performs great so far. I've only tested it on a sheet of 22mm plywood and a sheet of 2mm steel and it cuts effortlessly, especially on the full speed setting. The tilt function is straight forward for mitre cuts and the rotational function works well to cut deep curves or circles. The laser is a nice feature and I found it very helpful for cutting a straight line without using the edging clamp. Blade changing was a breeze though it comes with a wood and metal one only.A big improvement on my 25 year old Black and Decker (which has served me faithfully) though whether it lasts as long remains to be seen...Only slight gripe is it's quite heavy which doesn't bother me and also there is something rattling about inside which hasn't affected it's performance but is slightly annoying.

Well made jig saw
Good solid construction but a little bit heavy to use. Works well with easy change blades.

Good value
Works well I have been using it on pine wood. There are some hard knots in the wood but the saw cut through them with no problems.

Good value for money
Appears to be of a good solid structure, correctly weighted easy to use. Cut laminate flooring with ease and with a bit of care cuts curves nicely

Don't waste your money
Don't waste your money. The blade keeps jumping out of the guard and so not straight and also potentially dangerous. The laser is not centered so useless. Seriously don't waste your money with this piece of tut. Would of returned it but was outside of return window when I got around to "using" it, which was mostly placing the blades back into the guide.

Cheap(inexpensive), does what it says it will...
A great tool "just in case". Fairly new purchase so still working out the kinks. I gave it a lower score as it seems to cut to the left of the centre line marked on the base and I've yet to see the laser guide. The tool-less blade change is easy to use: twist, insert, release, crack on. I'm by no means a master with power tools but I'm not faffing in with a pull saw although I manage to get straighter lines. I found it a doddle to cut out awkward shapes when laying the flooring. To answer an above question the slider button is for the vacuum valve function I think. All in all a handy back up if you have a superior machine or an ideal beginners tool
