Fixed Brake Light Issue With 1997 Chevy C1500
Perfect fit for my 1997 Chevy C1500. I didn’t have any brake lights at all and this was the fix. Easy replacement, took about 15 minutes.

This Part Fixed My Brake Lights on 95 Silverado K1500
This part fixed my brake light failure on my 95 K1500. The problem is the keeper that holds the part in place was very difficult to remove and even harder to reinstall. The problem is the way GM engineered this vehicle, you can't get your fingers up in the area underneath the dash to work on it. I watched all the videos I could find on fixing this and nothing worked. What did work was after prying off the clip with a screw driver, I was able press the clip back on by holding in place with a couple of fingers on one side and then using the perfect sized bent screw driver to press a 15mm socket over the square clip from the other side.

Great Part, Looks Like an Exact Replacement
This part is very high quality and looks exactly like the one that I took out. It worked very well. I used it on a 1999 Chevy Suburban K1500. It took about an hour to install, although the guys on YouTube did it in about ten minutes. It mounts up behind the brake pedal and behind the steering column. Not much room to work at all, and you're working upsidedown and over your head. My wires were not very long, so I had to make all of the connections basically blind, so it took a while.

Solid and affordable.
So I am not a dummy but not thoroughly experienced with auto repair and the world to give this a comparison. I had no issues with this. It was exactly like the model my 96 silverado 4wd used. Got the clips and it went right in. I double then triple checked I was doing it right because of how easy it was. The clamp portion that holds it to your brake, was always a solid hold and showed no damage. I was actually afraid I missed something as I expected more difficulty. I wasn't even sure if this would fix my issue. I figured it wouldn't be a big loss with the price. It solved my issue. Working brake lights top and bottom!

97 Chevy C1500
Fixed intermittent lights. Brake lights worked upon pedal press but immediately shut off when pressed further in normal driving. A little tricky to get the clip off to replace this but I am a skilled diyer. I was able to reuse the clip as well.
