Szeged, Paprika Hungarian Sweet, 4 Ounce

What is there to dislike? This Hungarian paprika is sweet and flavourful! Finely chopped bacon and onions and even garlic, if you like. Fry in large pan till translucent or slightly browned (for more flavor), clear space in middle of pan and add a tablespoon of paprika and quickly stir it around to release the aroma and quickly stir into the bacon and onion. (For a richer tomato taste add a small can of tomato paste as well) then add a can or two of stewed tomatoes (use a sharp skinny knife to chop up while still in the can) and add your favorite chicken parts. Cook over medium heat till chicken is tender. Serve over white rice or pasta or mini dumplings. Add a dollop or more of sourcream or plain yogurt. Some people mix it in and others just top it on. Hint, if sodium is not a problem for you, dry rub chicken with salt OR soak the chicken in salted water for at least an hour in the refrigerator before adding to the other ingredients. Make sure to pour off the salt brine and rince the Chicken before adding to the pot. I like my paprika chicken spicy hot as well, so try the Szeged hot paprika. If you can't afford chicken you can substitute it with potatoes for a tasty and satisfying, as well as filling dish. Soak the potatoes in salt water the same as the chicken. Enjoy!

I like the taste of this paprika. It’s easy to use and it heightens the flavor of the meals I make using this paprika. Nice generous size for the cost of this product. This one is sweet paprika. The color is nice and the seal on the container keeps it nice and fresh.

This paprika is unique and delicious. I use it for Paprika Chicken using a recipe that my Hungarian mother used. It makes all the difference. It is totally different from Spanish paprika. It is an excellent product.

The product came undamaged and the seasoning was perfect. I bought another one when we ran out.
