Doesn't Cool Very Well
Machine has difficulties cooling at 70 and below. Ran a temperature gage at the output of the Air Conditioner. Temp was consistently 4 to 5 degrees hotter than the set temperature. Uses a LOT of electricity. My electric bill went up over $100 in a month. Not a unit I would recommend for home use.

Be carefull!
I do have one of these which is the replacement for the first one that I returned (I thought it was defective but that was the nature of this product based on contacting Tripp Lite support). If you have a server room that is already at 65-75 f then this will blow some cool air and if you are buying this as a cooler to cool down a warm to hot server room/ rack, then this is only a $850 fan with 1100w power usage which keeps blowing ambient air and even producing more heat due to it is a device itself. What's the point of having additional cooling if you already have your server room cooled? wrong fancy product which does not improve the condition in the name of enterprise quality item!

great solution for a rack of gear
This is the only one like it I found. I have a server rack in the office and the management switch off the air at night and weekends. I fitted this to the top of the rack and it blasts air down the front. Watch out with the depth as it is quite deep. It is pretty noisy and the fan runs all the time as far as I could tell. I set it to come on after power fail and bought a timeswitch so the aircon goes off during work hours when it is not needed. The front is a bit cheap looking but OK

Broke ... Serviced it and Fixed it. Here's my tips.
The general consensus on this unit is that it doesn't last long. I would have to agree that they all seem to fail after about 14 months, just beyond the warranty.Because I have prior experience in the construction, and specifically the HVAC industry, I decided to take this unit apart and figure out what happened. Here's my experience and how we extended the life of this unit. After about 14 months of using the unit it started to freeze up. This happens, normally, because of dirty filters or because of low charge. Because we had this in a server room the clogged filter was not the issue. So we took the unit apart to find the issue. Once the housing was removed we made the following observations and changes.1 - The unit is a sealed unit. You would think that this would prevent leakage of r410a, however these units either come really low charged or they leak slightly. Because the unit was freezing-over we added about 4oz of charge to it (that's a lot considering it takes 18oz total) and the freezing issue was resolved. Unfortunately, there's no fill valve because it's a sealed system. We had to tap the low pressure side in order to add charge. Be sure to use bullet taps on the low pressure 3/8" side only. If you tap the high pressure side (1/4") line you'll have leaks because of pressure.2 - The unit has a float that triggers the evaporation system. Unfortunately, the tray that holds the water is in direct contact with the coils and causes rust and corrosion. If I purchase another one of these I will likely take it apart and seal the area along side of the tray to prevent the corrosion of the metal coil. If you can use the drain it would be much better.3 - Bonus tip, a unit is more likely to freeze over at low fan speeds. This is contrary to what most people would assume. Keep the fan on high.

It's great for about 6 months then breaks down
Tripp lite gives you a year warranty, so you get around two units during the year then you have to buy another. I've replaced 5 units in the last two years. It's a real pain having to replace and throw the old units out (plus it can't be very friendly to the environment). I figured for $1k/year, I'll live with it, but when you are out of the office and it goes down, it becomes a real problem. At this point we are just calling in an HVAC company to cool off the server closet. I'd stay away from this unit, no idea why Tripp lite would even sell such a POS.
