Not Exactly What I Ordered
This year, I went a little crazy when planting my garden. I am growing multiple tomato and watermelon plants. Of course, these types of plants need a lot of fertilizer to produce a worthwhile crop. Up until this point, I have been using mostly organic granular fertilizer. I find that the granular fertilizer works well, but there is one problem—it needs to break down first for plants to get any nutritional benefit. While I have been waiting for the fertilizer to break down, I have been losing valuable time to boost my plants more. I decided that I needed to get a good liquid fertilizer that would feed my plants instantly, and voilà, I came across this Urban Farm Vegetable Fertilizer. Now, let me be clear; I am no stranger to liquid fertilizers. Last year, I used Fox Farm Grow Big & Tiger Bloom liquid fertilizer for my tomato plants. While those fertilizers worked well, I did not like that I had to switch between the Grow Big & Tiger Bloom fertilizers depending on the growth stage of my plants. This Urban Farm Vegetable Fertilizer, though, seemed more well-rounded, more potent, and with a more extensive ingredients list, so I ordered it. It arrived today in excellent packaging without any leaks or spills. Everything was fine until I noticed that the NPK on the product I received was different from the listing description and the picture description. The picture of the product on the listing shows an NPK of 4.0-2.7-6.7, while the About this item section states the NPK is 4.5-2.5-6.0. The actual product that I received shows an NPK on the label of 5.0-2.5-5.0. Confused yet? I am. I do not like ordering one thing and receiving something else. I preferred the lesser amount of nitrogen listed in the description, so receiving a product with more nitrogen is disappointing, to say the least. In all honesty and fairness, even though I did not receive the advertised product, if this fertilizer lives up to the hype and helps my plants stay healthy, strong, and productive, I will have nothing but good things to say about it.
