Merrell Men's Thermo Chill Snow Boot

I determined years ago that Merrell makes the best affordable "outdoor footwear", period. I've had Merrell low-cut hikers that have lasted through 3 pairs of laces. They wear like iron, and are comfortable.These snow boots are the first over-ankle Merrells I've purchased and was hoping they would be comfortalbe and true to my usual Merrell size. No Problemo! Great fit...Light weight...warm...good snow traction. Totally pleased!

I tried these on in a store but they didn't have my size (14). Thankfully Amazon had my size and offered fast and free delivery. They arrived right before the severe cold weather hit the southeast. I'm impressed with how warm they kept my feet in 28 degree temperatures with one pair of socks. I'm a cold weather wimp so I bet these would be great in even colder temperatures, for you northerners. I need extra arch support in all my footwear, so I added a pair of Spenco inserts, which fit nicely inside these boots. Also, the laces are easy to tighten and tie which helps the on/off process go smoothly. Will definitely buy again if these ever wear out.

Comfortable and well constructed. Not sure if the boots I received are brand new. The laces had knots tied at the ends on both boots and were packaged loosely in a generic box, not a Merrell box. A Note inside the received box read: This item has been repackaged in recyclable, frustration - free packaging because the original box was damaged in transit.

Lite and warm good traction

Size 10.5. Good quality boot. Kind of stiff and runs small. I returned them. I have a pair of Merrill Cold Pack shoes that I really like. Bought same size but the boots were narrow.Also felt they were kind of hard to get off and on - stiff. Would definitely have kept them if they fit.

These are very comfortable, light weight, and warm for 200 g.
