KaiyodoRevoltech Anubis Series No.113 (Completed) [Japan]

Revoltech has made another set of winners with both its Anubis and Jehuty figures. While Jehuty runs into a couple of problems with the setup, especially when trying to attach the Vector Cannon, Anubis has the advantage of being less complicated. All of the parts fit well together and make posing the figure a breeze. Even the large wing setup, which I thought would be a huge pain, proved to attach very easily. The figure itself looks astounding for the price, with a gorgeous shine on all of the right parts and the same stellar art design by Yoji Shinkawa. The absurd amount of detail in this figure is the kind of dedication that Zone of the Enders deserves; Kojima would be proud.If I had to make one complaint, it would be that balancing Anubis on its stand is difficult. This is because the wings (technically "vector traps," but you get the idea) make the figure heavier towards the back. Getting it to stand up without leaning too much in one direction is also a bit irritating thanks to the looseness of the joints on the stand. The joints are loose by necessity- otherwise Anubis would be a nightmare to set up- but it can make fitting the wings into the stand annoying if you do it in the wrong order. These are both minor problems, however, and the figure itself more than makes up for any quibbles that I had.Overall, Anubis has it pretty good. On top of being the best looking Orbital Frame in the series, it also has the prestige of being the best looking figurine too!

I am quite pleased with the seller service. I purchased this item from jp.fashion and it arrived well packaged. However as for the item itself, for those of you wishing to own the Anubis, was dissappointing. I expected more from a company such as Revoltech. The item itself physically appears as a far lower quality than the picture. Firstly the paint job has a 'mass produced' feel. The parts feel kind of weak. Most of all, the item itself doesn't seem to settle symmetrically, with the upper body at an angle to the waist section, which 'aims' in a different direction. The selling point of the Anubis SHOULD be the design, and the wings. While the wings make this model look great from a distance, it doesn't stand up to scrutiny close up. I would not recommend purchasing this model for the price it is popularly advertised for. Instead, try to find it for much cheaper or perhaps even second hand/damaged box version to save on making a mistake. I have not seen the Jehuty models but judging from pictures, they possibly fail in the same areas. I will not be buying another Revoltech product.

First off I have to say this, if you are a Zone of the Enders fan, then this figure is the ultimate collectors piece. The amount of detail put into these are outstanding! The colors are accurate to the game and the articulation let's you pose it in almost any way imaginable. I have attached two pictures so you can see what I'm talking about! Best piece in my collection so far.

I IT CAME BROKEN

The articulated wing pieces are great! This figure is a close faithful rendition of Jehuty's rival. Paint job is average but with the many moving parts and the WINGS it was easy to forgive its flaws.Good luck trying to pose it with the included stand though, the thing can barely support all that weight. The stand, by the way, is taped behind/under the black figure tray. Had a minor panic because I thought the stand wasn't included!

Shipped fast and the item was extremely detailed and has amazing qualities. I loved the item, got it for my brother for his collection and he's in love with it.

This is one of the best figurines in the series, in my opinion. The different ways you can pose Anubis is awesome. I have recently been collecting the Zone of the Enders figurines, and even though all of them are awesome, this one stands out the most. I have no complaints with this amazing figurine, its a must buy

The figure is absolutely beautiful. I have it sitting on a shelf with my Jehuty as well. Were it based entirely on its appearance, it would be 5-stars all the way.However, it does get the 4-stars, because some of the joints, particularly the hip joint, are virtually impossible to get set just the way they should. No matter how much I fiddle with the revoltech... thing, the left hip looks like it's dislocated.Regardless, this is a beautiful thing, and it looks fantastic once I got it situated just the way I liked it. Would absolutely buy again, just slightly frustrated with posing a couple joints.
