Gashapon Sailor Moon Transforming Compact Set

Got these as a birthday gift and absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE THEM!!! They are pretty small but its a perfect size for display among larger or multiply sailor moon memorabilia. DO PAY ATTENTION TO THE DIMENSIONS OF THE COMPACTS because I can see how someone might mistaken them for larger, average sized compacts. These were given as a gift from my bf who mistakenly thought they were larger. He's a guy who knows little about makeup or sailor moon in general, so when he read "compact" he assumed they were of at least a usable size. The mirrors inside are a laughable size to use as an actual compact. It is clearly a toy and nothing else. I still love them for show. They are incredibly shiny and metallic looking. They all also have a separate compartment. I can see it being used as maybe a pill holder but nothing much else. Still if you know someone who loves Sailor Moon, I can guarantee you they will love these.

I bought these set of 5 for $40 bucks. I know in Japan these were around $3 dollars each but I was late to the party and now everywhere sells them overpriced.These are super tiny because they are from capsule machines.I have small to average hands and these are just a little bit smaller than the palm of my hand.The outside of these compacts are beautiful very shiny and colors are vibrant. However, there is some imperfections because how cheap they are in Japan. Every single one of mine has minor imperfections but I figured they would so its ok.The only thing I was sad about was the inside. They are all just yellow. Good news is that they all have indentations of what the inside look like. So I painted them. I have a picture up. You cans see how mine turned out.If you have any questions I would be happy to answer. :)

So not worth buying. First of all. It didn't come with the pretty box that people post at the bottom. Second of all. There small. I thought they be like the size in the anime. But I was disappointed. Not worth the price at all! They should be 10 dollars or less.

I pre-ordered these from J-List, but then Saw that the price on here dropped to about $25, so I just bought them on here because I knew I would get them faster. They are shiny but found chipped paint on 2 out of the 5 lockets. But according to even some of the reviews I've read from Japan, this isn't uncommon since they are Gashapons. For those of u who don't know what Gashapons are, they're just a better quality item that gets put into those quarter machines where u twist the dial & a toy or candy comes out. Honestly, for me to tell you the quality of this item, I would say that it had the quality of a toy that would come in a McDonalds happy meal. & I read another persons review, the mirrors ARE REFLECTIVE! She apparently didn't remove the protective film that covers the mirrors. However, the mirrors are small. These are meant for fan items more than an actual compact mirror. Although, what I thought was neat was there is a very small separate compartment that opens up beneath the "plastic in the middle". I keep my pills in there that I need to take daily. It's great!

Cute box set with high quality replicas of all of Usagi's transformation brooches/compacts! The attention to detail and paint jobs are very nice, and I love that the compacts actually have an interior space. They're an appropriate size for cosplay, though you'll have to add some kind of fastening to the back to get them to stay. The price on these fluctuates, but I managed to grab them at around $30, and it feels like a fair price.

The brooch set came in a white box with a hand drawn note and cute lion dressed as Sailor Moon on it. (I'm told it reads "The Lion Shop") Although the brooches were not in the original gashapon balls, they were still wrapped in the original plastic. The little paper that comes with each one were put in a bag together and also in the box, which I didn't expect but was a nice surprise.The compacts understandably had some flaws as they're gashapon toys but nothing major. The mirrors had plastic over them that needed to be removed. They're small compacts but beautiful and very detailed and accurate. While I wish the price had been lower since I know the original cost, $40 was not too much to pay as a hardcore Sailor Moon fan.

This is super cute! I ordered it about a week ago, and it came super quickly. These came in a box, not in capsules. I think they're made out of substantial plastic, not too cheep feeling, but obviously not like the proplica stuff. But I think they're incredibly shiny, and they're so pretty and I can't wait to display them. Someone who left a review painted them and now I want to too, because they look even better that way. Also, the wings come off super easily on one, but I'm going to glue them down.

They're really cute.. but I had to return them much to my daughter's dismay after one broke less than a week in.... of course i promised to buy her much higher quality ones later from amazon.. and I have even started explaining to her the value of leaving things in their packaging and admiring their beauty by starting a collection instead of breaking them out just to get.. well... broken. :) I think she's getting the idea!
