It does what it should however I don’t like the shape of the forms. They are wider toward the cuticle and narrow right where I would want it wider for strength. So next time I will get something different.

Bought these to try with the Gel and they work beautifully.

I don’t have huge thumbs but I am a bigger than average woman and the biggest form wasnt as big as my thumbs.

I've been growing my nails out by using a protective layer over them for toughness(my nails break easily🤦🏾‍♀️😩Recently I haven't been able to visit the salon but my new growth was driving me insane PLUS I broke 2 nailsI'm no professional I'm pleased with my handiwork 💅🏾

I thought this would be a quick fix to doing my own acrylic nails during the pandemic, but instead it took 2 additional hours! Here is why: they seem to be okay when you first put it on your nail to measure it, with a little a filing on the cuticle area of the form. But, once you get the acrylic ( I use monomer & polymer) in the form and place it on your nail, it does not cover the sides of your nailbed.I tried goin up a size on the next nail, but the problem there is that the cuticle of the form is wide, then becomes narrow with a higher arched C curve than I had anticipated. This results in a thick nail in the center, then steeply thin going toward the sides, ending up with zero coverage for both sides of the nail.It is hard to file these down because the material is softer (which is why it is easy to pop off once the acrylic has has set). Although I did manage to file a few, it really didn't make a difference.ALL nails were messed up; No side coverage! The one I pressed down on in an attempt to cover the sides, just oozed out acrylic and made a hard seem in the hardened acrylic.It took well over 2 hours Just fixing 5 nails after using these forms. I didn't use it on the other hand and went free style, as usual, which took much less time and ended up looking normal - as usual.In summation:Wide at cuticle, narrow at sides, high C curve = A mess you have to fix.I am returning them today!
