Just what I needed....
.... to see around my shoulders. I'm not sure OEM's actually have real people test their machines before stamping it done. There was no amount of adjustment that would make the mirrors on my 2010 Vulcan Voyager see around me. These extenders were just the right thing. Worked great, bolts fit fine.

Amazing mod for Versys 650
These took 5 minutes to install and offer an amazing view of traffic behind me. I'm a larger rider and only used to see my shoulders. I've owned few bikes that offered a decent view of traffic behind me - notably Concours 14s and a Concours 10 - so I've wanted to try mirror extenders for a while now. Since I got my last and forever bike, decided to give these a try and I'm very impressed with the quality of the item and the performance. Makes me wonder how manufacturers get things so wrong - the mirrors in this case but also seats. But that's a topic for another product. Buy these, they're great !!

Excellent for moving mirrors out so that I can actually see behind me
These are the perfect size to move the mirrors out for better rear visability.

it was not a universal fit
it did not fit my scooter.

Extenders are good, bolts are cheap.
The extenders themselves have held up well. Over the last 1.5 years they look almost like new, and other than needing to be loctited in place work is advertised. Unfortunately, the 10 mm bolt that comes with the kit is made out of cheaper material. The bolt head has heavily rusted, even though all the other similar bolts on my Indian Motorcycle still look in new condition. Also, I cannot find replacements for these bolts at any of the hardware stores I've tried, because the 10 mm head is smaller than standard. Looks like I'll have to buy a whole new set from another company that provides actual stainless steel hardware, and not pretend, rust prone ones.

Improved visibility, simple concept.
Arrived quickly and installed easily overall. The wrong size lock washers ("gaskets") were included with my order, but apart from that simple enough. Definitely improve the usefulness of the mirrors on my motorcycle, allowing me to actually see things behind me without having to contort my body. For the price, a no-brainer purchase.

Problem Solved
I actually bought these because my Honda Silverwing scooter wheel wouldnt lock because the oem mirrors hit the windshield. These solved that problem plus they are better because your shoulder doesn't take up half the view. They been holding strong for a couple months now.

Only good for one side :(
Bike mirrors have a left hand thread and right hand thread for the 10mm bolts that screw into the handlebar clamp. This kit only has the right hand thread so only good for one side. The base of the mirror has to screw into the left handed thread on the handle bar clamp . This extender has you use a supplied 10mm bolt to attach the extender to the handle bar then the mirror has to screw into the extender. Both the supplied screw and the extender are right hand thread so it is not going to work on that side. The quality of the screws is a poor quality metal that will strip if your not careful. I used it for one side of my Yamaha. The angle of the extender would not work with my menu selector switch so it has to be run a bit forward. Still it did extend my stock mirror out a bit but I would suggest getting a product with a left handed thread for the right side.
