The Style of Movement: Fashion & Dance

I love ballet and high fashion. This coffee table size book combines both. Interesting introduction but not really text beyond identification of dancers and designers. I don't recognize many of these ballet dancers but all are stunning.

As a beautiful companion piece to Ken and Deborah's earlier work, "The Art of Movement", "The Style of Movement" again shows the power of the captured moment. The beauty of movement partially exists in the fact that movement is evanescent, but the photographs in both books eloquently argue that movement frozen in time is equally powerful. With some of the world's most accomplished dancers as subjects...many captured in midair... the authors have created a sumptuous work that the reader will return to again and again.

The photos are top-rate eye candy. The package arrived well packaged with secure inner wrapper. So far it appears to be in perfect condition. A fantastic coffee table book. It's an excellent companion to The Art of Movement by the same authors, which we also love.

This is a wonderfully printed large format coffee table art book that I have enjoyed every day I’ve had it in my hands! The photographs are outstanding examples of beautiful dancers! I’ve really enjoyed the inspirational value from studying this book.
