bad fit and likely rated incorrectly
I just attempted to fit this part to my 2000 VW. It was immediately apparent it wasn't going to work. The mounting holes aren't 10mm and required copious filing to fit on the studs making a roadside repair much more involved.Also notice the size of the fuse bar itself. It is a fraction of the width of what is shown in the photo and what other users photographed just 3 years ago. It's stamped 40 amp but I'd be shocked if it can withstand half that amount. I'm expecting to lose my fans again the second the high speed fans start running.
