Bought this product due to having issue with squirrels and mice getting into my vehicle and having to take it to the dealership and have fixed since they would get in and chew wires in the engine bay. Ever since I’ve bought this product the squirrels and mice have stopped visiting the vehicle definitely worth the money for this so your not a the dealership getting wiring fixed

I found some Voles in our new motorhome about a two weeks after I parked it next to our house. I was a bit skeptical on this stuff but others in our RV group said it works. I cleaned up all signs of the rodents, put the pouches in some drawers and then some in the basement storage area. I haven't seen a sign of a vole or other rodent since. So it works and it makes our motorhome smell wonderful!

Not at all satisfied with this product. When I first got it, I opened the bag it came in and didn’t smell a thing with the 4 pouches that are inside. I did smell them when I put my nose in the bag. My first thought was, peppermint and cinnamon are two very strong spices so why can’t I smell them? So I figured well the mice will smell them I guess. After all it is made for them. I’m building the inside of my cabin I live in and just finished a cabinet to go beside the kitchen sink cabinet. The first night I had put them out, I got chewing noises from the mouse trying to eat my newly built and installed cabinet! Apparently, I blocked his view. I did order the spray also so I grabbed that and sprayed the underside where he might have been chewing since I couldn’t see. About 15 minutes later, and mind you that spray smells so good, he started chewing again! So I grabbed the spray and doused the wood with the smell. It finally smelled like peppermint in the cabin! It did stop the mouse from chewing but the bags haven’t done a single thing to deter any mice from coming in and freeloading. I decided to put one of the bags in my car for air freshener and well, there’s not the slightest hint of cinnamon/peppermint inside of the car at all. Which leads me to believe, I ordered four bags of scentless pebbles and that cost way too much money for someone living on a small retirement check. I gave this 3stars because the spray worked on the one spot I sprayed it and it did smell good. If I could give individual stars, the bags would get a negative 3. Back to the drawing board for me.

Even though it has a pleasant scent, it doesn’t last long. The mice might not even smell it. I don’t recommend it.

I purchased a small hunting cabin in the Southern Teir of NY. the previous owner had had several mouse traps in the cabin, so I assumed I was going to have mice being it was in the woods. I purchased the smaller package of Grandpa Gus's repellent on Amazon (4pks and spray bottle). Started using it in September and I was impressed with the smell it left in the cabin it's definitely a nice air freshener. After placing the pouches and not being in the cabin for about two weeks I realized I was not seeing any mouse droppings. I normally drive down every week or every 2 weeks to check on the property and I must say I see NO mouse droppings. NONE! and I am really looking. I do refresh the pouches each time with the spray bottle that was included in the package but I will tell you this stuff works!! the only reason I did not give it 5 stars is the spray bottle does not spray properly it leaks when spraying (small thing). You will not be disappointed it this product. I plan on purchasing more of this in the future. Mark D.
