LNC Black Wall Sconces, Swing Arm Wall Lamp with Antique Brass Finish, Adjustable Plug-in or Hardwire Light Fixture

The clean design of this lamp is attractive and nothing is plastic! I need a light above my stove. The photo shows how high, and far to the side, the ceiling light is located. The lamp doesn't swing side to side in the way I expected. Howver, I've found there is more play in the possiblties of how it can be positioned. Have tried it 4 other ways so far. I didn't want it on the wall behind the stove because of grease, etc. The wall directly to the left was where I hoped to put it. I had moved the bottom arm to rest flat against the base running along the wall and angled down the other arm and lamp. Unfortunately, that wall encloses a brick chimney, so it couldn't go there. Where it is installed, the bottom arm comes straight out and angles upwards. The top arm angles a little to the right and the lamp is down a bit. The close up photo was taken directly across from the base, so you can see the angle of the second arm. I really like this lamp and think I'll like it even better with a clear bulb. The company is interested in satisfied customers. They've contacted me twice since the lamp was delivered and replied postively to my comments.

Its not as well made as I would have liked, but it works and looks good once installed.

Did not see all the negative reviews when I purchased this; however, they are accurate. I ordered 2 at the same time (they arrived separate days). The first was bronze in color; the joints would not lock to support the weight of the lamp as other buyers have reported. Amazon sent a replacement which was completely different—gold color (compared to bronze), different wiring, different origin country, no UL sticker, and different hardware included. Finally, my second lamp from the original order arrived in a damaged box. All three boxes are marked entirely differently despite being from the “same company”. Overall, very poor quality and given other buyers reports and my experience with the routing of the wire inside the arm this is just plain unsafe. While Amazon’s response to defective product was wonderful, this product is just awful and I cannot recommend it.

So I got 3 of these lights cheaply, because I bought them via Amazon’s certified returns. One was for over my farmhouse sink, and the other 2 for over the tops of 2 sets of floating shelves in the adjacent living room. I was so excited for these, because the price was great and they really are very, very lovely fixtures. They would’ve been so perfect for the spaces intended. But after the electrician attempted to hang the first one above my sink today, it’s clear that even if you’re hanging these up really high in a set position, they’re gonna keep falling and will potentially break. I don’t know why the manufacturer doesn’t just fix this issue?! I’m not looking forward to the lines I’m gonna find at UPS when I go in to return these and cry because my house won’t be perfect for Thanksgiving ☹️

Overall, awesome light. Looks great as a side lamp with out bed. The only issue was the teeth that hold the bends in the arm have to be extremely tight. If not, the weight of the glass globe will swing down and bash the wall. Teeth don’t sit 100% flush. A bit of a nuisance. All that said, it’s slightly annoying readjusting the bend to lower for reading. BUT it looks cool and decent price with decent materials. I’d give it a 4 out of 5. One star removed because the “bends” are tricky.Update: Don't use a cleaner to clean the dust. It will smear and wipe away the stain on the fixture. However, even with my carelessness, customer service was awesome. They were very friendly and provided a positive experience. The problem was resolved very quickly.(Although there’s still the same annoyance as listed above with the teeth not staying tight...) I’ve upgraded my rating to five stars because of the attentiveness of the customer service. For me, the item is only part of the package. The other part is the seller and their reliability. This experience has been a very pleasant experience and I’ve now purchased a second lamp to match this one.

Really beautiful lights.I have them on either side of my bed.And the electrician said that they were very easy to install

Have this for 3 years now and still working fine. The line switch may not last but I had mine plugged in an outlet that powers on/off from a wall switch. What I’d caution against is adjusting the angles/tilt without unlocking the wing nuts first. The locking gears are not sturdy. Bought this as a used item at a heavily discounted price. At regular price I’d get the swinging model instead.

The lamp is all metal, even the shade is made of metal. The craftsmanship is sturdy and it should last a lifetime. It was easy to put together. The instructions are clear, but not really needed because most of the lamp is already pre-assembled. The hinges on the arms of the lamp clasp together by small grooves so the lamp does not fall down out of place as some other lamps do. Overall I am very satisfied with this lamp. I mounted it on the wall above my computer desk, as a work light. It blends in nicely with all decor since it is a neutral gray/brown color.
