I got it to use instead of evaporated milk for smoothies (sort of like a soft-serve ice cream) for my sister who follows a WFPB diet for health reasons. Everyone loved the ice cream alternative! I sweetened mine with sucralose; others used honey, date syrup, or maple syrup. Delicious!Be aware, however, this is NOT a low calorie food!

This organic coconut milk actually taste and smells like what it’s suppose to be. So many times I’ve purchased other brands and it tasted more like glue. I’m enjoying this brand, the taste keeps you coming back for more. What’s great about it...it’s not thick even after opening and placing in refrigerator. It’s consistency is smooth and loose not thick or solid. It smells and taste like pure coconuts without the emulsifier (guar gum). The price is amazing about $2 each for 12 cans. This brand has no additives, fillers, preservatives and it’s BPA free. I received on time and all 12 cans were intact without any dents whatsoever. The expiration date is a whole year away on May 2022. Finally a brand that’s not hiding unhealthy ingredients in their product (guar gum). I didn’t realize how much I love coconut milk until now and taste so good in my morning coffee and smoothies. If you're searching Amazon for an organic coconut milk with no additives and no BPA, this is the one for you. The flavor is very good and it separates, like you would expect from a natural coconut milk. I usually make Thai curry with it. I recommend it.

I have ordered this product before along with its main competitor and was always pleased with the quality, taste, texture, etc., ...until we received the last batch a couple of weeks ago. Some of the cans were simply spoiled and not edible at all, with the ones that weren't spoiled, were "chunky" pieces of fat in more of a watery coconut consistency.... despite shaking vigorously before refrigerating. Once refrigerated, it became solid chunky and just oily. When adding it to any beverage, whether iced or cold, it reacted like it was just solid oil. We actually even thought about draining the coconut water'ish portion and just using the oily portion as coconut oil, as there was absolutely no consistency of coconut milk at all. Not sure when this product's quality changed, but I was unable to use any of the 12 cans that I purchased. At this point in time, I would caution purchasing this product if you are looking for a quality organic coconut milk.

I will use this for cooking, as it is a good quality product, However, my main use is for coffee, and I like a creamier milk. That said, it is much better than another brand I tried, which looked curdled in the cup. It has a good taste, but I have to use too much to lighten my coffee, so I will switch to coconut cream.

This last shipment of milk is EXCELLENT!! Very creamy. The previous one was more oily, which I didn't care for so much. Thank you!!
