These are Anderson connectors
I bought some connectors directly from Anderson at the same time I purchased these because I was afraid of the reviews that said these were fakes. They are exactly the same as the ones from Anderson!

What I needed but hard to use and assemble
Bad design. The 30 amp units are much easier to assemble

Over rated
Anderson Powerpole connectors are very easy to use, with bright colored housing to minimize reversed connections and spring loaded self wiping lugs. I put silicone rtv around the base of mine to provide stress relief, hold the housings together and seal the crimps. They are much more expensive than Molex or spade lugs and I don't see much more value for the price. Also these are rated for 45 amps but when I crimp them on 10 awg wire with calibrated crimpers a few strands always escape. I use them because they've become standard for amateur radio.

Power poles. What can I say
Now my console has powerpole outlets for my radios and accessories.

Really poor product design - do not buy!!
The metal connectors come in a strip as opposed to individually as other brands. To use them, you need to clip them apart and TRIM them somehow (I used a Dremel) so that they will fit into the crimping tool AND the plastic housing!!! No matter how close you clip them out there are still a couple of "wings" which need to be ground off before you can use it. See the picture. This is totally nuts!
