ALIGNMED Posture Shirt 2.0 Zipper for Men

I have been using this brand and style of compression shirt for several years, recommended by my physical therapist. She actually suggested that I get one size smaller to give me extra support. It takes some getting used to since it’s quite tight, but I find that the shirt helps hold my shoulders back exceptionally well.The down side is that my back can get itchy if I wear it for several hours, especially on a warmer day. But I’m willing to put up with it since it helps me so much with my posture. On the days I don’t wear it, I think my muscle memory has been retained to some degree, so I don’t necessarily need to wear it every day.I actually have two shirts now and alternate wearing them. Also, I wash them in cold water and hang-dry them so they’ll last as long as possible. They will eventually stretch enough that they lose their effectiveness and need to be replaced. If taken good care of, they can last at least one to two years. For me, it’s worth the price to improve my posture and reduce upper back and shoulder pain.

It fit fine but support was not in the correct zone where it was really needed. We returned item.

So i haven't seen many reviews on this shirt, which is odd as the price of this shirt, and its features make me think that it should have more reviews.By now you've seen the star rating. So i like the shirt a lot, its nice and tight in the shoulders, and the "vents" on the back do a good job of aligning the body posture correctly. I recently had shoulder surgery and my PT therapist has told me i have to straighten my posture out (I always thought i had great posture, so that wasn't fun to here).After talking to her, I decided to use an amazon gift card on this purchase as it was a relative unknown. Fortunately I got it pretty quick and suited it up. The tag mentions you should only use it for a few hours at a time. I disregarded this as i'd been pulling my shoulder blades back and down for a few days and felt like i had "decent' posture. This worked out ok for me, as the shirt immediately helped me align better, but did not feel like compression tape that would artificially pull my shoulders back (and my pt said she wouldn't be doing anyway).So all in all i wear this pretty frequently, it does feel good, it doesn't hurt my back, and i am pretty sure that between the shirt, my pt's exercises to straighten my posture, and my desire to have a functionally shoulder again, things are going great. I highly recommend this shirt if you are recovering from surgery and like me have let your posture change due to the sling you are forced to wear.Only the price keeps it from being 5 stars!

Great concept. Manufacturing and quality is extremely well thought out with venting sides and seams sewing and style.However Not for beer belly, chubby, or fatter people. If you look something like the man in picture this will fit. I got 2xl and was super tight on stomach whild loose on shoulders. It may have helped because it was holding in the gut but there was no tension in area I was looking for. I couldn't keep it at the the price to wait and see.

I play saxophone for a living, and it hangs on a strap around my neck. This tends to make me slouch even when I'm not playing. So I thought this might be a help. It was uncomfortable and didn't allow me to take the huge breaths I need to do my job. It might be right for others, but it didn't work for me.

Shirt is not a compression shirt - it states that on the tags attached to the shirt when it arrived. The upper back section is to large so it doesn't do anything for your posture. It is tight in the arms and fits when your shoulders are forward but when you pull your shoulders back to the proper posture the shirt actually gives no support for back. I purchased both a medium & a small as I wanted to wear the medium on a daily basis & the small under tighter short sleeve shirts - but there really wasn't a difference between the two sizes. A waste of money - I'm not sure why these shirts are over $70 when some off the same shirts that cost under $20 are just as good if not better!

Purchased for an adult male with a history of both neck and rotator cuff surgeries. The shirt fit well, the sizing chart aligned with actual measurement. The material felt good and the extra support in the belly could be helpful in reminding one of correct abdominal position.However the shoulders were too loose; need for greater restriction to be effective. Very surprised as most reviews are favorable; including from those with medical necessity. There were negative reviews from those who didn’t like it because they thought it was too restrictive for them so this was very disappointing.

In my opinion, this shirt is the Holy Grail of back support. I'd owned one of these years before and so was not surprised to find that the product is still great.Literally just upon zipping it up my back cracks and I can feel my shoulders pop. I don't know how they do it but the shirt really does assist and straightening out your posture.Totally worth the buy
