Just what we needed.
Just what we needed. We use this to hook up our special needs daughter's button so that she can play learning games on the computer.

Sensitive and Clear
I have to admit being required to do some adjusting, as this soundcard was highly sensitive. NaturallySpeaking, of which I use daily, was unable to lower the volume enough. To fix that, I turned off Windows Mic boost. That lowered the volume a little too much, but it still works fine. Always use an external soundcard with speech recognition

Great for adapting computer for switch use
I've already used this a few times in my severe-needs special education classroom and we LOVE IT! We've been using it with switches for games and it works like a charm. THANK YOU!UPDATE: the USB was awesome while it lasted.... last week, it was barely bumped by a student's wheelchair and it completely snapped in half (the metal piece just snapped off the plastic black piece) and is no longer working. I know that technology can be fragile, but I'm bummed that it isn't a little sturdier considering I'm using it in a special ed classroom :(

Greatest input device since the mouse.
I'm using the USB 3 Switch with the Three Button Trigger Switch (see photos). The trigger switch has two index-finger buttons and a thumb button. Each button is independently programmable; the combinations and possibilities are nearly endless. It has been 100% reliable. I love it!

2 replaced in less than 2 years - babied the device
We use this device at a university in Special Collections & Discovery to trigger our camera systems for digitization. This second replacement just stopped working. We have tried all troubleshooting independently as well as suggested from their tech support. The device is dead. After emailing their tech and sales departments, they have decided not to honor their warranty replacement. We have had two of the same devices do the same exact thing now. It is not used with high traffic, it's actually babied with only 2-3 users 3 days a week working with the camera. There's no physical damage. The company said - "The current replacement has worked for about a year so that would indicate it is not a manufacturer’s defect covered under the warranty." The device is only 9-10 months old being used on the same computer as the last one. I would say don't buy from XKeys, find another vendor.
