Easy to cut, good adhesive and magnetic
As you can see from my photos, I wanted a magnetic board for my makeup. Before I redecorated I had a lovely copper magnetic board up, but unfortunately it didn’t fit. I searched and searched Amazon and Google for a magnetic board, but I couldn’t find any the correct size. During my search, I came across this and others like it, but I didn’t want black and reviews on some listings weren’t great. However, the reviews on this were good overall and it’s a decent price and I thought I’d give it a try.I only ordered it extremely late last night, but it arrived today. It came rolled in a sturdy tube to protect it from damage and it was simple to remove it.I quickly tested the magnetic properties by sticking on one of my items and it was fine.I measured the area and marked up the back of the board. Neither pen or pencil would leave a mark due to the silky finish on the backing paper, but I simply made a few indentations as a guide. I was extremely surprised and happy to how simple it was to cut with scissors. It was no harder than cutting paper.Earlier, I’d prepared the surface I was sticking it too by wiping it with isopropyl alcohol, to ensure the area is clean.I pulled back a corner of the backing paper and put the corner on my chest of drawers. Once happy with the position, I pulled back the backing paper a little at a time and used a cloth to press the sheet against the drawers, ensuring no bubbles. It literally only took me a few mins to attach. Then I continued to press firmly and rub gently with my cloth to ensure a good contact.Normally, I’d leave anything with self adhesive 24hrs to ensure a good bond, before using, but I only left it for a few hours. I’d recommend 24hrs, however this does have a strong adhesive and I wasn’t attaching anything heavy. My makeup items already had 1 or 2 ‘neodymium 15mm x 1mm magnetic disc stuck to them. They all stuck well to my previous magnetic board, however I had to apply an extra magnetic disc to some of the heavier or larger items, or they slip downwards.I knew before purchasing this, that the magnetic pull wouldn’t be as strong. However, it’s easy to rectify by ensuring the item you’re attaching to this board has strong magnets.I actually prefer this, it’s a lot easier for me to remove my items. On my previous board, the pull force was too strong and I’d struggle to pull things off, in fact I actually pulled my board off the wall a few times. My worry about the colour isn’t actually an issue, especially once I’ve put up more items as you won’t see much.I wish I’d know about these before as you can simply cut to size, instead of searching for a board to fit. Although, if I wanted to attach heavier items, it may not be as practical. This is also a lot cheaper than a fixed board. In my photos, along the top of my board, you can see I’ve round kitchen spice jars, which are all full (hair clips, not spice). They are actually quite heavy and are holding very well.Overall, excellent value, good size, customisable to fit, easy to cut, simple to fit, strong adhesive and a decent magnetic pull.I highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️PS. I still have a strip of 220 x 420mm left 🙂TIP: You can easily purchase self adhesive magnetic discs or strips on Amazon for anything you want to attach to this. It recommended you purchase neodymium magnets and they are at least 2mm thick for a stronger magnetic pull. I had lots 15x1mm magnetic discs, but needed to apply extra. I had one 20x2mm magnetic disc and the pull was far better. The bigger they are, the more expensive, however if you use smaller, you will have to use more, which is false economy.Have fun 🤩 and enjoy 😊

Great product!
Excellent product, bought an American style fridge and didn’t want all my holiday magnets on it so made a new magnetic board in the utility with this and it’s fabulous!

does the job well
Bought it for by 1.5 year old toddler so she could play with magnets. I sticked it to cabinet door what works perfect. It sticks well and doesn't peel off. For us the strength is perfect. Its easy to remove the magnets but at same time they don't fall off even if a bit heavier.

Just perfect!
Cuts easily, stick on well, magnets stick to it nice and firmly and don't slide about or slip down. Just make sure you rub the air bubbles out, when you stick it down. It was easy to do.

Works very well for a drawing board.
This was purchased to go on my drawing board to use with magnetic pins to hold a drawing in place. It works very well, for something like Pastelmat board I use magnets both on top of the drawing and underneath the drawing board which seems to do the trick.

Very bad magnet
Doesn't stick on metal, very poor magnetic attraction

One do the best receptive magnets
Very happy with this product. After trying a few other magnet receptive items, I was happy to find that this one actually worked. I cut them down so I could hide the magnet but it’s still strong and plenty left to add more at a later date if needed. The adhesive is strong enough to stay stuck to the unit with the weight of the spices in the containers.
