water proof, strong, long lasting pond gloves
UPDATE: 3 yrs and they still work! just went out to clean the pond this spring and these are still in perfect shape and water proof. I have even been using them to wash the cars when its cold out.update- after 4 months of use they are holding up perfect. I was just cleaning my filters again and so happy to have these on as I came across a dead frog again. I have been moving slimy rocks around with these and I can get a good enough grip so I dont drop the rocks. when I am done, I simply hose them clean, let them drip dry in the shade and put them back away. still very happy.these are thick enough to reach in the pond and retrieve some plant buckets just fine. they have some good grip to them too. very long so you can really dig deep and not get soaked. no funny smells in our pair. not even a bad chemical one. they are easy on and off but I did go for the larger size as I hate stuff too tight.these were easy to use even tho a bit roomy and we just hung them to dry when we were done rearranging rocks and pulling out some plants. so far I am quite happy. I will post updates on how they hold up and get some photos up later too. so glad to have found these. that water is too cold to get in with out gloves and too deep for my kitchen gloves.update- liking these more and more. been using them a lot to get the pond cleaned up and they are really lasting well for the work they take on. you can grab a good slippery rock with them too, they have enough grip. I took some photos of my son using them, he is a long armed, 6 ft tall, thin guy. we got the large size as I hate when things fit too tight, they work well tho they are a bit loose at top as he is thin but that is ok, I can clip them to his sleeve if need be, what is important is they are long enough for him to get to the bottom of the filter basket. great find.3 yrs and still going strong!

Terrific...Elbow length gloves
These gloves are terrific, I use them to clean my fish tank and they work great, keep my hands and arms dry, fingers fit very snug which make it easy to grab and securely hold items and move plants, deco, gravel, sand, whatever needs to be moved or cleaned. The fish and other aquarium inhabitants do not mind the gloves at all, causes them no harm. These gloves are 10 times better than those gloves they sell in stores or online that are specially made for the aquarium. If you get these gloves, you won't be disappointed. These gloves could also be used to handle most other kinds of chemicals without any harm( do not recommend you use these with chemicals and then use them at later time to clean fish tank). Great gloves for price of $13.00, truly excellent.

Excellent! GREAT VALUE! Saved my son's hands : )
I bought these gloves for my son, who started work as a dishwasher at a local restaurant. He was having problems with water sloping into the cuffs of the wrist length gloves supplied by the establishment. These gloves work GREAT! My son and his co-workers all gave top marks; no more wet, red, sore, chapped, and chemical/heat damaged hands : ) I just order 3 more pairs! These gloves are surprisingly lightweight, with excellent grip. Elastic at top is brilliant. I would have paid double the price for these, as they have saved his hands. I don't think he would have kept this job if we couldn't have solved this problem : )

Using this as a cast protector
I broke my wrist and was looking for a cast protector. Not only are they fairly expensive, they are non-returnable since they are (medical devices). My hands are fairly large, so I gambled on the XL to fit over my wrist cast. This size accommodates my casted hand well, the gloves aren't too huge and the elastic is a bonus. These are durable gloves, meant to take some abuse. They arrived rapidly from the West Coast (I am in the Chicago area), way ahead of estimated dates, shipping was free, price was half that of a flimsy cast protector. I can do dishes, scrub, take a bath or shower, etc. without problems. Highly recommended.Amazon should set these things up as a "hit" when somebody is searching for a cast cover or protector.

Excellent! Like them better than the Blichman's.
Love these gloves. They go up mid bicep, hold really well and are comfortable. They've cleaned through many a brew session without fail. The only draw back is they do, of course, hold in your arm and hand sweat so they are a bit on the stinky side.

Good gloves, but not what I hoped for.
These appear to be good quality, but didn't suit my application. They have a rough textured exterior which does not seem suitable for washing cars.

Perfect for Aquarists
These Atlas gloves come in very handy when I am cleaning my fish tank. I use a lot of anti bacterial items and I was always concerned I'd destroy my perfectly cycled tank or worse get that fisherman's disease thing by putting my bare hands in the water. They are comfy. They go way past my elbows and I am able to grip things well enough. I only give it 4 stars because it's been months since I purchased them and they still have this awful chemical smell. If it weren't for the smell I'd give it 5 stars.

Work great for oil changes!
I'm an automotive technician by trade, and have skin sensitivity issues. Part of my "protocol" for not breaking out from contact dermatitis frequently is to wear long sleeves to prevent direct skin exposure to tires and hoses. The downside to this is that if I change oil or do work inside of a transmission or differential, the sleeves on my shirts can end up soaked (even if I roll them up at times). These gloves have been a great purchase for me, allowing me to slip them on over my long sleeves when needed and keep my shirts clean!
